Triple Crown is a cozy, local neighborhood bar tucked inside a small plaza next to the meat market on Highland Sylvania. From the moment you step through the door, the space exudes a welcoming, low-key vibe. The venue is compact, featuring a pool table near the entrance, a small jukebox, and a long bar that stretches along the side. Bathrooms are located at the back of the building, and along that wall you’ll find a few high-top tables for seating.
The drink selection is straightforward and reliable. They carry basic domestic beers and well-known liquors such as Jack Daniel’s, Patron, and Crown Royal, along with a small bourbon selection—a nice touch for bourbon enthusiasts. The staff consistently impresses with their friendliness and efficiency, and the bar itself is usually clean and well-maintained. Patrons come from all walks of life, contributing to a genuinely neighborhood feel.
It’s important to note that Triple Crown does not have a kitchen or serve full meals. There is a small rack of snack-sized chips if you’re feeling peckish, but beyond that, no food options are available. The front section offers a few chairs and a small area for socializing, and if you’re a smoker, there’s space at the front of the building to enjoy a cigarette while sipping your drink.
Though the bar is modest in size and amenities, it offers occasional live music and fun events, and the staff is happy to help celebrate birthdays or other special occasions. Triple Crown is exactly the kind of neighborhood pub you visit for good drinks, friendly service, and an easygoing atmosphere—no frills, just a welcoming spot to relax and...
