To start off I want to mention I did order take-out so I gave the restaurant 5 stars for everything other than food. Now I give 3 stars because I feel there is room for improvement but it wasn't absolutely horrid. My husband and I got the teriyaki chicken with veggies instead of rice and an order of pad see ew. I did cook a pot of white rice to go with this order and to begin with I'm thankful because the amount of veggies given was so tiny. Would have definitely wished to have more veggies. Secondly the pieces of chicken for the teriyaki chicken were so thin, my husband was a bit disappointed. We also ordered the chicken at the highest spice level but it was not very spicy at all. We were hoping for more of a kick. But flavor wise? Both these dishes were great. Just sure wish the spice level and portions could be adjusted. For the pad see ew I also wish there had been more broccoli in it and it was definitely lacking sauce. This is the lightest I've ever seen pad see ew be made and with this recipe the darker it is, the more sauce was used when cooked. But other than these things I did like the flavor and if I tried to eat here again I'd only do so dine-in. I hope Magnolia Thai takes the constructive criticism and makes some tweaks, I'd definitely retry them...

We’ve gotten takeout 4 times now. The food is excellent, fresh with plenty of flavor.

We’ve had difficulty with consistency in the seasoning. The first time we ordered they told us that the spiciness of the food could be adjusted from 1-5. We like relatively spicy food so both of our dishes we ordered 5. When we got the food home we found it tasted excellent but had no heat.

On our third and fourth visits we ordered heat 6 - 7 and the food was perfect.

The most recent visit we ordered three dishes, Basil Fried Rice 7, Pad Thai 5, and Orange Chicken 4.

All of the dishes came with no heat. There were none of the small red chili peppers signature to Thai food.

I did call and speak with the manager and explained our experiences. He was extremely nice and pleasant to speak with, it made the whole experience much more comfortable. He took our criticism to heart and said he would speak with the cooks, apparently they had some new people in the kitchen . He suggested that we request their fresh chili from the kitchen when ordering, not the one at the front counter. That way if we arrive home and the food is not properly seasoned we can add it to taste.

This is quickly becoming one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the Magnolia Tomball area. We will continue...

Wow! I haven’t had food this good in a long time! I’m not usually very interested in Thai food but it sounded good to my husband and he mentioned that it had good reviews - now I see why! He got the green curry (combo), I got the Thai fried rice w/ shrimp. They were both incredible! The shrimp was cooked to PERFECTION (seriously the most perfectly cooked shrimp I’ve ever had) and the flavors were out of this world (and so unique!). We also got the mango sticky rice which was delicious! I especially loved how you can choose your spice level - neither of us like our food super spicy so level 1 was perfect for us! We will 100% be back and have already recommended it to several people! I can’t speak to the atmosphere inside because we ordered our food to go but from what I saw when I picked it up, it looks very nice, clean, and chill! Service was super fast (our food was ready within 10 min of ordering) and the guy who greeted me was very friendly and quick to get it for me. Portions are ginormous (in a good way) - we each got two meals out of our orders so it’s even more bang for your buck. If I could give more...

I came here based on the high reviews on Google and while I do think the food is reasonable it doesn't have that wow factor that will keep me coming back for more I came here for lunch and ordered the pad see ewe. I was disappointed that it wasn't the thick flat noodles but understandably those noodles are hard to get and I hadn't seen much Thai restaurants having those types of noodles unless it's downtown. It was abit on the sweeter side as well and they used more western style broccoli vs the Asian one. The spring roll was delicious and it's been a long time since I have had good spring rolls I live far away so I doubt I would come back any time soon (I'm not sure if they do better rice dishes such as curry) but I would recommend if you live by this area that this is not too bad a Thai restaurant to try.

This place is in what I call the "rough side" of Magnolia but don't let the location stop you from trying it out. Nice staff, nice place, small but there was plenty of room when we were there. It seemed like most of their orders were for door dash or delivery vs. dine in. Waitress was nice but needs to learn to give people a chance to read the menu. . . told her give us a few minutes. . . . 30 seconds later she was back asking if we were ready to order. Really nice and attentive though. Food was nice and hot. . . . really hot! Tasted great and good portion size for the price. If you are looking for Thai food Magnolia is limited, but this place will satisfy your craving. Give them a try.
