Russo's New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen | Magnolia — Restaurant in Tomball

Extremely disappointing and gross!!

Upon walking in there is a strong sewage odor.

We ordered two fountain drinks. The cups were all dripping wet and smelled like bathroom soap. We literally smelled probably 5 cups and gave up. I ended up asking for a can drink instead.

Our mozzarella sticks were brought out as soon as we sat down, which was really strange because I’ve never had mozzarella sticks cooked so quickly. They were awful. The cheese was like rubber and they were not warm. The manager said it was because they were frozen and then dropped into the oil…strange excuse. The outside actually looked like they were overcooked. I wonder if they had been made for someone else and then given to us.

The Greek salad was good. The lettuce was crisp. No complaints there. Thank goodness because that’s all I ended up eating.

I paid nearly $17 for a sad pepperoni calzone that had about 8 pieces of pepperoni, total!! Never had such an expensive calzone that wasn’t packed with pepperoni.

The workers kept going in and out the back door, smoking, and every time they did, the cigarette stench would fill the room. That mixed with the sewer smell, and horrible food made for an extremely disappointing and disgusting experience. We will never ever go to this location again. I’ve been to several Russos and never ever had such an awful experience. I’ve actually only had excellent experiences at other Russos.

Russos Magnolia, get it together because there are several other awesome pizza places close by, you will end up having to shut down because no one...

This was my second time there. Great service from the cashier and the staff that made my orders. I ordered the Margherita pizza and Fettuccine Alfredo during the first visit. The toppings on the pizza were adequate, and the ingredients were fresh. The crust was just right, not paper thin or too thick! I wasn’t expecting much from the pasta, but it was so good. During my second my visit, I ordered the lasagna & chicken parmigiana. I was thinking that maybe the same marinara sauce was going to be used for both dishes; If it was, I couldn’t tell as each dish had its own unique flavors. Both were very tasty. I would definitely be back...

Wanna blow your kiddo’s mind!? Order them a giant slice of cheese pizza! Me, I ordered the meatball sandwich, and it was PHENOMENAL! The meatballs were super tender, the bread was soft with a nice crusty outside. Sooo good! I loved it. It brought back core memories and made me happy! We also got a chicken rustica pizza and it was also very tasty! The mozzarella is sooo good. Our other kiddo had the chicken rustica, and it was really, really good. We all ended up sharing it, LOL! The sauce was very flavorful and the pasta perfectly cooked. The whole family walked away happy with full bellies!! Friendly staff, great food, 10/10 would dine...
