37 Eats Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Toms River

I’ve been in here 4 or 5 times since they opened. As a huge fan of social 37 I was hoping for the same level of service and food quality.

Every time we have gone food has been pretty good. Love the wings. However service has always been sub par at best. This afternoon I watched two tables walk out. There was a total of 8 tables including mine in the dining room.

Our server finally came over and took our order. We wanted bbq wings to start as an app which not only came out wrong but with our entrees and we still hadn’t even received our bar drinks yet. We reminded her twice. She also came back to ask my husband what he order again. Wings weren’t offered to be fixed only if we wanted a side of bbq sauce for the wings covered in hot sauce. My avocado was more brown then green for my burger I wanted fries but it came with chips and my husbands Mac and cheese was dry and burnt with the ribs. Our server never came back. We ate what we could as we were hungry. Still no bar drinks in sight. Once we were done looking for her to bring the check she delivered the bar drinks. After giving her the card for the check took 15 mins to run the card and only after my husband went and asked for it.

As a fellow server I understand people need to start somewhere. However, staff seems too green especially to be left alone in the dining room for a lunch and with no help in sight every time we come in. Never once saw a manager or anyone come help this girl out. I was excited to try this place. Honestly was expecting more. Drinks were good. Food was not as good as I thought it would be. Bar is nice. Bartenders are nice and make great drinks. I didnt take photos of everything we got. Cheesy bread was not something id get again. Said it was a garlic bread with cheese. It's more of a pizza. No garlic flavor at all. Definitely would not reccomend it. Steak bites had zero flavor, my boyfriend ordered them medium. They came rare(which i dont mind but he wont eat). The KFC wings were ok- but I expected them to be spicier(especially because I've been to Korea and know what they should taste like- this wasnt it) but they were still good. The only thing i didnt like about my drink is they use regular table salt instead of rock salt. I wiped all the salt off the rim. And there was a lot of salt in the bottom of the drink. Disappointing Experience Despite Great Service

I recently visited 37 Eats and was excited to try their food. Unfortunately, the cuisine didn't live up to my expectations. Despite the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere, the food was a letdown.

I ordered the burger, but it was overwhelmingly salty, making it inedible for me. I expressed my concerns to the staff, but was still charged full price. As someone who's mindful of sodium intake, this was a major disappointment.
