Five Star Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Toms River

I've been ordering from this establishment for the last 2 years on a weekly basis. Every time you call this place the language barrier gets progressively worse as the only words they know are "my friend, my friend."

To top that the owner (whoever the "my friend" lady is) has the worst attitude when you provide feedback about the food being burnt or just not having a protein in the meal (order chicken in garlic sauce, you expect chicken -- not this place)

So, on the occasions when the food is correct, you get one of the two slobs who deliver it to your house, who look as if they haven't showered in a month.

Do yourself a favor, rather order from here - just microwave a TV dinner... I've spent the money for you not to... I never write a review, but this lady doesn't deserve another dollar of anyone's business.

This lady banned my address, shame on me for "giving another shot" but don't make the mistakes I made.

I'm all about supporting small businesses - anyone recommend a place...

I was visiting a friend in Tom's River and wanted to order lunch so i googled. Found this place. The order took over 50 minutes to arrive even though I think we were 5 minutes away. The delivery guy said that was a normal amount of time. The food tasted as if it was made in an American diner by American cooks trying to imitate Chinese food. I guess so many people are giving this place 5 stars because they don't really want Chinese food. I ordered Shrimp and Scallops with Broccoli. It tasted as though the seafood was sitting out in the sun for awhile, and I'm not certain but i think the scallops were cut from the fake crabmeat in the shape of scallops. I've never seen scallops that fell apart the way these were. The pot stickers were good. The vegetable lo main tasted like it had gravy on it. General Chao chicken was sweet, not...

The lady who answered the phone was a little sarcastic because I guess she was getting annoyed with me because I’m particular on how I want my food anyways I ignored the sarcasm … The food was uuugghhh ok … when being lazy bamboo gardens 2 is my delivery place omg the sauce to everything is just so delicious anyways they were closed . And I didn’t feel like driving to china express on hooper ( which is the best Chinese food out here hands down ) so I tried this place nothing to brag about ! The delivery was fast and delivery guy was extremely nice … my fried chicken in garlic sauce is a no for me chicken is soft no crunch smh the shrimp fried rice barely any shrimp and the chicken and broccoli is nothing to get...
