Tontitown's answer to 'CHEERS'.
Rated top 5 burgers in NW Arkansas, the Door serves only black angus beef. Burgers are flat grilled to order with old fashioned hand cut fries. No draft beer... only bottles and canned. Wine - the Door serves only Tontitown Winery product produced by the Ranalli family from the local vineyard.
Locally owned (not a chain), Jerry's Red Door has been a staple of this Italian community for more than 40 years. Totally community focused, they support pool, washer (think horseshoe) tournaments and local musicians.
Nothing fancy here... No tablecloths, paper napkins and a stained red concrete floor. This is unapologetically an old fashioned beer bar serving fantastic flat grilled burgers and asstd other menu items. You'll find it clean, super friendly and low key. It is one of the few businesses that allows smoking. They do maintain an excellent exhaust system. I'm not a smoker and find myself comfortable when visiting.
You'll also find that a wide range of ages and personalities frequent this bar & grill. Farmers from the surrounding area, local industry employees and destination travelers like bikers and crafters will all be seen.
If you're local and had no idea Tontitown had a local bar & grill, you should check it out. If you're traveling to NW Arkansas and prefer local favorites rather than chain eateries, this should be a 'must try'...

The queso and salsa are excellent. I mean excellent! Immediately my wife and I commented on how delicious they were and how we need to bring the girls here.
The waitress and staff were tremendously friendly and did a fantastic job tending to us. I was smiling that we found a new place to eat locally! Plus it’s only 4-5 minutes from our house.
Then the entrees came. We both ordered the pulled pork platters with fries, cole slaw, twice baked potato salad and beans. The beans were the star!! So amazingly flavorful and delicious. The fries seemed battered and very tasty as well.
Now comes the stuff I hate to comment about… because I don’t like leaving negative reviews at local places.
The pulled pork was not good. At all. It was sandy (too much rub?) and shards of gristle overwhelmed any meat in site. Very dry. It looked un-appetizing from the start. The potato salad was a flop. Hard flop. Like from the high dive. No flavor and tasted like someone poured water in an empty Mayo jar, shook it up, and then poured it over potato’s. I was sooooo looking forward to that one. Dang it. I’m still upset it didn’t taste like anything.
Maybe it was an off night for this place?...

This was the first time I have been here after the renovations, completely new place absolutely beautiful inside and outside. Complete changed, it used to be a dark, shady bar and now It’s definitely a family oriented place for all people of any age.
Now i’ve been to beautiful places before, and had terrible food. This was NOT the case I haven’t had barbecue this great in a long time. The cuts of brisket were generous and thick. The pulled pork was actual chunks of pork and didn’t look like it was ran through a blender like so many other places. The smoked sausages were mouthwatering and the pork barbecue beans, mac and cheese, and twice baked potato salad was superb.
The waitresses were super nice, answered all my questions, and eager to help me with my takeout order, and so were the cooks. One of them even came out to talk with me about the particulars of the sausages.
I will definitely be recommending the red door in the future and am eager to go back to try the other items on the...
