Exquisite Mexican food. This place is so authentic that it evokes memories of eating at my Abuelita house. It's small and frequented by all the locals that know good Mexican food, so the Clientele will be speaking primarily Spanish, but english ordering is possible with a bit of menu pointing. The owner and staff are there running things, so your return visits will always be greeted with familiar smiling faces. Good prices round out this amazing hidden topeka dining experience.

This lady is amazing. It’s a small place you can easily drive by it. I had the Pastor burrito and was expecting to pay at least $10 for a small burrito like you get in Wichita but this burrito was packed with Pastor with some beans and cheese and great flavor. Cost was like $6 and I loved it. If you are in the Topeka area stop in and check them out. I’ll be going in the morning for their house burrito with eggs, chorizo, ham and bacon and eggs. 5 bucks for that. Can’t wait.

This place offers great Mexican food. I had a large bowl of Menudo. The flavors were on point. The customer service is friendly and fast. Also try the coke from Mexico. Try the house plate. It has a variety on it and is a good choice if you are uncertain of what to try. I recommend this place and will be a returning customer.

A very small dining space should you want to eat in. It felt very closed in as there was no clear view to outside as the windows were covered. Definitely nothing fancy, but very humbly put together. It looked like a one-person show, but she met me at the door with a smile... very charming and soft-spoken. I had the house breakfast burrito. It was made fresh. It was not bursting from the seams as some of the local commercial places have us used to, but was plenty to satisfy a morning hunger. Bummed out there was no horchata (she was out). Food was tasty. The "not hot" salsa (green) was hot to me so I'm worried how hot the hot salsa was (red)....

Amazing atmosphere, great food, and even better service! Don’t expect food fast, but expect food made with love that is delicious!! We were on the way back to Colorado and needed to grab breakfast and gas. There’s. BP across I-70 and this GEM on the other side. Don’t let the exterior fool you nor stop you from getting a homemade meal. They have a dining area if you want to eat in or offer to go. They have non-alcoholic drinks for purchase as well. Come support this...
