Alex’s Roast Beef & Seafood — Restaurant in Topsfield

Must be a new girl working there. Been ordering from them for years. But now service is rude. She is snippy, rude, short, with a very bad attitude problem. No room in the market for that. Ill simply go down the street to topsfield pizza. I simply will not put up with terrible rude service, not after a long hard day. The nerve of that little girl to talk to good customers that way. Cant advise you not to go there...but i will never go there again and give that rude little girl any of my hard earned money.

And youre reply is to assume that it was ME who was rude. What a rediculous thing to say! You were not on that call I WAS. What did you think that little girl would say..."yes, i was a real a hole to that guy on the phone" of course she will not say that. The idea that young people take personal responsibilty is long gone in todays world. If i got angry with the way SHE talked to ME..its because SHE talked to ME in a rude snippy attitude a hole way. And thats that. Take responsibility and stop blaming your customers..JUST ANOTHER REASON WHY ILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.. went to topsfield pizza amd they...

This was a random stop for me and the wife after deciding we weren't making it home. (We were starved from Apple picking all morning)

We got off 95 in topsfield and just took a right on main Street thinking "there must be a spot on main Street".

Enter Alex's Roast Beef! We asked a kid outside how the food was, he was eating a slice of pizza. "Pizzas ok, but the roast beef is the best" that works for me!

Staff was very nice and inviting as well! I walk in and see them packaging up a steak and cheese (my favorite) it looked great so I ordered one with peppers and onions, I also turned around and saw pictures of Dave Portnoy giving the roast beef a 9.9. I ordered a junior beef with sauce cheese and mayo. Both were amazing. My wife got the grilled chicken sub, the chicken was some of the best we've had at any sub shop!

Needless to say if we're EVER in the topsfield area we will be returning...

I live in Topsfield, not many choices. I have gone here many times and it's very hit or miss food wise. Often your order isn't processed properly for instance ordering onions and there's no onions on the jr beef etc. Food is average but owner completely mishandled issue w/take out order of my roast beef sandwich was on the bottom of bag w/onion rings and items on top completely flattening sandwich! I called to express my dismay of why this clearly doesn't make sense as if to put eggs on the bottom of the groceries and all he could do was say, "That's how we always do it!" Talked over me, didn't listen, and was pretty ignorant to the concern. Their food isn't anything special and w/service as such why would I bother? Going back...
