Our wedding at this venue was absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better or more affordable option. The lawn was the ideal setting for cocktail hour and gave our guests a beautiful space to socialize under the stars, while the barn was the perfect size for our 80 guests - cozy, welcoming, and full of charm.

Martha was excellent to work with throughout the entire process. Her clear communication and flexibility made planning stress-free and ensured everything came together seamlessly for our big day. We also loved the historical aspect of the barn, which gave our wedding such a unique atmosphere, and we greatly appreciated the accessible lawn and parking that made things easy for our family members.

Gould Barn is a "newer" historic building in Topsfield, constructed in the late 1990s containing some lumber and beams from the original 1710 Gould Barn that was built about a mile away from its current location. It is similar in construction to the original Parson Capen barn that was located on this property.

Just got married here and it was beautiful. We set up the lights and decorated ourselves. With the full kitchen and multiple electrical outlets, it was easy to prepare, serve and clean for all the guests.
