Drive-Thru Depot — Restaurant in Torch Lake Township

Have been coming here for years. Pulled up to a crowd of people standing in the actual drive thru where you can order at the window. Waited for them to move and they didn’t so we parked, & headed inside to order. Walked in with masks on to order and after waiting at the counter to get help we got yelled at for coming inside. I told the worker who screamed in our face that the drive thru has a crowd of people blocking the window and that’s why we came inside. The door should have been locked if they didn’t want customers inside or at least have a sign saying “do not enter” worker was extremely rude, by the time we got back into the truck and made it to the drive thru we had to wait in a line of cars. Extremely upset she wouldn’t have taken our order before kicking us out.

I was given a sticky spoon to use with no napkins. The ice cream was melted so they must have scooped it and let it sit for the full 10 minutes before running it out to the truck. Going to skip this...

Tonight I called ahead as I was on my way through. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and 2 things of cheese curds with ranch and marinara. One for myself and one for my wife. I told the gal that I’m only 5 minutes away, but I will be pulling a rather large boat so you can’t miss me. I parked straight in front of the doors to ensure that I would be seen. I called about 20 minutes after I had gotten there to let them know I was there and to check the status of my food. I was told that my food would be done in like 2 min. However, they never Asked for my name. A gal came out to my truck 15 minutes later and asked if I was Jon, then took my money and went inside to grab my order. The order ended up being wrong, items were missing, and the food was cold. Not wanting to wait inline again I just ended up going home and...

This place pleasantly surprised me! Don't go expecting fast food speeds if there is a line, but for a small place they so very well. They appear to take call ahead orders as well to save some time.

They have a drive thru window as well as out door and indoor seating. The outdoor seating is so cute with a backyard patio vibe.

The menu is a snackers paradise. Tons of variety for fried sides like curds, pickles, zucchini, mushrooms and the normal staples. They serve breakfast sandwiches as well as burgers and sammies.

They also have an extensive ice cream menu for scoops, cones, sundaes, splits and shakes. So far, the food has always been tasty and nicely prepared.
