I’m new to the area, coming from the south towns and was worried if I would find good Mediterranean food. I’ve had, Alton’s, Athens, babas, pita gourmet, Rachel’s, ghadda have it, the list goes on. I stopped in the plaza for a dollar tree shopping journey and saw it and thought, let’s give it a go. It is the BEST chicken souvlaki wrap I’ve ever had. This little hole in the wall place, where the gentleman who takes your order makes your order kinda thing….fast and phenomenal. I told all my friend and said I can’t wait to go back. I can’t wait to try other dishes!!! Went back for more…Tabouli was delicious and Greek potatoes were Devine.

So, this place used to be in the McKinley Mall and I used to go there all the time just for this place! Now I discovered that Nana’s Mediterranean is in Alden and I am so happy! Today is my first time at their location in Alden and I must say their food is absolutely as good as it was when they were at McKinley Mall! Today I only got their Mediterranean Supreme Wrap and a side of fries and the wrap was absolutely wonderful! The fries were also amazing considering they were fries! I ABSOLUTELY recommend this restaurant. Their food is consistently great!

This place is amazing. The food was packed with flavor and delicious. The owner was so nice, prepared our food quickly and made sure we were taken care of with lots of small kind gestures. We got the chicken souvlaki pita wrap and chicken/steak souvlaki dinner - both were generously portioned and so so good. The tzatziki was the best I’ve ever had, highly recommend getting extra on the side to eat with your fries. Last but not least, order the baklava, it’s perfectly sweet and savory. Will definitely be back!

I understand that everyone has their own preference of food, and I only had 2 items here... But I have to say... This gave me absolute nostalgia of growing up and having my mom buy me the Beef/Chicken Soulvki and greek potatoes at the Eastern Hill Mall.

I have only eaten here 3 times in 5 years!!! I didn't even realize we had this available in Alden. And I have to say... it's been 5 stars and amazing each 3 times. For about 10 bucks and less than 10 minutes you can get an amazing meal. The most convenient thing is I can order and go shopping next door at Tops and get my meal when I finished shopping.

The only thing I wish is that they had local delivery.

A+ No more desperate...
