Last nights dinner was up there on my list of worst unfortunately. Our group arrived at 6:30 on a Friday for dinner. While waiting for a table in their very empty dinning room we went to the bar for drinks. The drinks took a bit long and us waving down a bartender to notice us as we sat in the center of the uncrowned bar. This was overlooked by us at the time as service has always been iffy. After an hour of waiting we asked again about getting a table and was told 10 more min, again the dinning room had more empty tables then anyone sitting at them but we were friends catching up and lots to talk about so it wasn't too bothersome, just laughable.
After being sat we realized no one had come over to serve us. So we got up after some time and asked if they could send someone over. The poor girl that was on day three clearly not set up for success and didn't seem to be very well seasoned in the industry took our order. So much time passed we asked for bread, they brought out three slices of toast to our four "4" top. As another hour passed I think we got our salads around 9pm. They came out enormous, warm, and with stale croutons. Not to mention the wedge which was not a wedge looked like a chop salad, what a waste just no effort at all. We were told the manger would be over.
The meals came out and the young man that was clearly told to bring them out had no idea where to go. We saw him and waved him over. He served the dinner plates and we realized they made the wrong dish they made chicken riggies instead of the grouper special. With all the time they had they couldn't make the right dish. Two orders of riggies, a burger, and a grouper nothing really crazy or confusing about what we ordered.
So now three of the four are served and the riggies are Luke warm the burger was not great and the three were eating meals just bc they were hungry at 9:45pm. The grouper finally came out I think it was they only good thing we got the fish, not sure about the sides. Still no Manager and now for the bill. Insert eye roll. Safe to say this place just can't seem to get it together. We were actually pretty pleasant upset Customers, didn't make any scene didn't demand anything just asked the waitress at the end "soooooo how do you think this went?" Watching them try and split the bill with two CC was painful.
As we left we didn't see any manager we just don't want to come back. I told my husbands his is why we stay home and cook. Geeze from 6:30 to 10:30...
Read moreHad made reservations for a night out for an anniversary and I will never go there again, to start our waiter Ben was running around in a panic even though there wasn't many people there, took about 20 minutes for him to come over and ask for drinks and proceed to quickly walk away without us ordering appitizers. Ordered the cheese platter which he didn't know any of the cheeses that were being served. 45 minutes later he comes back to get our dinner order, I also ordered a long island ice tea which came in about 20 minutes and was only an unsweetened ice tea, took about another 25 minutes to get the drink I had actually ordered....Entrees came out almost an hour after we ordered, the chicken in my chicken riggies was so cold and dry it was inedible and my girlfriend received the entirely wrong thing...all of these problems were brought up to the manager and she attempted to fix it by comping 2 drinks and bringing us "dessert shots" which were 1 oz shot glasses with pudding and a little piece of brownie in it...needles to say i spent well over 100$ and sat for 4 hours for one of the worst dinning experiences I've...
Read moreMediocre food, poorly trained staff, aggressive juvenile "manager".
Seated for dinner with two friends on the patio. Menu showed a burger, so we ordered it. Waitress took the order, then returned to tell us the burger is only served in the bar. We asked if the manager would discuss serving it outside and we were met by a hostile and confrontational young man who acted like he was looking for a fight. My friend ONLY eats beef, so the only alternative was a $63 steak. He ordered that. I ordered a calzone with a side of the hot honey. The lady ordered a Cesar salad with chicken. Two drinks and a water.
Steak was tough and unimpressive, hot honey never came despite asking 3 times, drinks were not refilled, but we didn't complain. $172 we were out the door.
As I was walking out the "manager" came running after us to tell us that we are not welcome back. I wasn't coming back anyway, but, really?! Even managed to ruin my sunset picture.
Some people just do not belong in the hospitality business. Unless the view alone is worth the trip...
