My family and I travel up and down route 22 a half dozen or so times each year. On our drive south, we were searching online for a dinner spot that wasn't roadside pizza or fast food when we stumbled on Thai Baan and the Distillery. Let me say, we were very pleasantly surprised. For starters, the property and building are gorgeous. What a great way to be introduced to this Thai gem in the Hudson Valley. We walked the grounds a bit before sitting for dinner indoors, which was a wonderful way to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains to our west. Our pleasant server took our order for four locally-distilled cocktails and we ordered a handful of share-worthy appetizers and mains. It took a bit longer than we had hoped to get drinks to the table, but once they arrived, found them to all be imaginative and quite tasty. We very much enjoyed both meat and vegetarian dishes. The menu is relatively small, but sufficient for varying tastes and dietary restrictions. The dishes were all delightful, and standouts included the Massaman curry short ribs -- one of the best I've ever had -- and the pad Thai, which was unusually flavorful and delicious. All the dishes were beautifully presented. We finished with a Crème Brûlée that was also exceptional. The all-in bill (with gratuity) was $360 for the four of us with four cocktails, two appetizers, three entrees, a pad Thai and a dessert to share. The cost-to-value ratio was probably a bit high considering the location, but not out of the zone for the quality and experience. We'll be back.

Totally experience was absolutely amazing. The food, the waiter, the service were all great. We also did the distillery tour and tasting. It was a wonderful night with great friends.

We just had our 3rd thai baan night at ten mile distillery and we are looking forward for the next time! It is the best thai food we’ve ever had. The menu is constantly changing and is full of good surprises, you can tell how much attention goes into every dish. The staff is very accommodating and manager very friendly. 5 stars...
