Bartolettis Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Aurora

We were seated right away. Busy for a Sunday night.. I understand but let people know about the wait to actually receive your food. After waiting 35 minutes following our order being taken, was told group of 25 in back should be about done, so hopefully should have food soon. Waited 15 minutes longer still no food, asked again, said should be up soon. 15 minutes later asked again, told again should be up soon. Told them if was going to be much longer we'd like to pay for our drinks and leave. Not stated mean as I have worked retail and understand yelling or being nasty doesn't help the situation. 10-15 minutes later finally got food, at which point were told they tried to fit us in but didn't work out that way. When we got food spaghetti was hard, probably due to sitting out meatball was frozen in the middle. Steaks were not up to usual standards. Would have been nice if someone had told us in the beginning that we were being "fit in". Instead of acting like we were imposing by being there. Never an apology for our wait. I always leave a decent tip but for the first time in 20 years i didn't. We could have spent our money for drinks and steaks (over $100) elsewhere and made our movie. I'm sure that was a drop in the bucket compared to your 25 table, so sorry to impose on your business... We won't let it...

I finally understand why people leave long reviews. Worst experience since I moved to the area. We called for reservations as this was for our anniversary. The lady on the phone didn't ask for a name for the reservation and when I asked she said "we'll be able to fit in a party if 2 easy". Well Saturday comes and they tell us it's going to be a 45 minute wait, and that they don't do reservations under 10 people. Well that's funny because as we were waiting at the bar, we heard the bartender take a call and say they don't do reservations for under 6 people. Anyways we finally get seated and we ordered the pretzel sticks appetizer. When it came out, two of the sticks you could tell were reheated from earlier as they were a totally different color than the third one. Then we order the chicken parmesan with Alfredo on the side and they bring us two chicken tenders on a pile of pasta smothered in Alfredo sauce. When we said we didn't want to eat that meal, they took it because "the back won't take it off the receipt without the food returned". March 14th at 7pm. was my worst experience there. The bartender whose name may have been Victoria was terribly rude the waitress was horrible. I have never had a bad time there before but on that Sunday the bartender repeatedly said to us that she "just wants a smoke and the cook was being a d*ck". Then the waitress never put in my food order when I was with 3 other people. They were done eating and it was 9pm when I finally got my food. We asked for water and she went to a table that people were sitting at and using their water, she took it and brought it to us half empty and clearly used. She charged us for someone else's food and the 3 other people I was with also got charged for the wrong food. The food tasted fantastic, thank goodness there were two good services, the cook and one waitress who kept bringing our food out to us and bringing us fresh water. I asked her what was going on with our waitress and bartender she said she had no idea. We tried to tip her but she refused. For the first time ever we did not tip anyone.
