Mark's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Avon

Been getting pizza here for a number of years at least 10 or 12 years. The pizza is actually pretty good. Crust is pretty good, toppings usually seem fresh.

After getting my pizzas tonight I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Not from the pizza but from the way I was charged for my pizza. Apparently, if you get half a specialty pizza here and half anything else they charge you for the full price of an entire specialty pizza. I know in the past this wasn't the case because I remember getting prorated. And it's not even that it's the biggest deal you know it's maybe two or three bucks I guess four at the most depending on size. But I just left feeling insulted like they were kind of ripping me off. I spoke with the guy who cashed me out, and he confirmed that it's the same price and it wasn't some kind of mistake. And now I don't know if I want to go back. Which is sad because we actually do like the pizza.

This type of behavior feels insulting. One of the reasons I went to Mark's to begin with was that a couple other pizza places in the area have done this and it made me not want to go there. I was still going to Mark's because I thought they were straight-up....

Ordered a large cheese pepperoni and mushroom pizza and boneless wings MILD for curbside pickup first of all got a text saying they’d text again when ready so like 10 minutes later I got a text stating order is ready when I get there message HERE and they’d come out so I thought no way it can be done in 10 minutes so I messaged HERE and no one came so I waited and did it again in 10 minutes and like 5 minutes later they come out, so first complaint is don’t text it’s ready when it apparently wasn’t.

Second complaint was barely any mushrooms on the pizza, you get charged extra for additional toppings so at least put something on the pizza

Third I ordered MILD wings and they were far from mild they were HOT and I can’t do hot and I wasn’t about to go all the way back there when I live in Nunda and was just going through Avon on my way home They clearly don’t listen to orders by reading other reviews next time I’ll go elsewhere when I want a good pizza and...

My fiancé and I are from Long Island, so good pizza is important to us. We really enjoy the sweet sauce pizza with thin crust. The pizza has always been good, but we had a pretty bad experience the other night when we ordered garlic knots for the first time. The knots were so badly burnt that they were rock hard and simply inedible. At three bucks for 3 of them, I was honestly insulted that someone boxed them up and thought that they would be able to sell them to us. Anyone could've seen that they were clearly too burnt to be served. Of course, the deliveryman was long gone before we discovered we had wasted $3 on bread that birds wouldn't eat. I thought we had finally found a pizza place we liked, but now I'm not sure. Really disappointed with...
