The Good: Friendly service from counter staff Great packaging/branding/logo Clean interior
The Not-so-Good Expensive for the portion sizes Quality of food varies from dish to dish Lack of parking
Drove 40 minutes to try Br'ers BBQ, and I really wanted to love this place. Ordered a good selection of items - 2 sandwiches, 2 snacks, 2 smoked meats, 4 sides. The two standouts were the Smokehouse Empanada and the Half Pound of Beef Brisket. Emapandas were super tasty with nice touch of heat; paired well with the fresh pico de gallo. Brisket was tender and moist with great flavor and didn't need any bbq sauce to enjoy. Unfortunately from there, everything went kinda downhill. Wings were very dry and hard. Half Rack of Ribs (ribs only - $24.95)... again were also dry and hard. Only way to eat them was by using copious amounts of bbq sauce. Sandwiches (Nashville Hot Chicken and Burnt Ends Burrito) were just ok. Mac and Cheese as a side was a "meh" disappointment - $8.95 for a small (8oz?) cup. Ditto for the Burnt Ends Baked Beans ($9.95), as well as the Potato and Street Corn salads.
Sorry Br'ers! I really wanted this experience to be amazingly good but I can't bring myself to give it...
Read moreI came here on the hunt for something different for breakfast and stumbled across this spot after seeing a video about their BBQ breakfast options. Glad I did!
The vibe inside is cool and relaxed with a bit of charm. It’s not a big space but there is some seating. Service was solid, the staff was friendly, patient, and gave me great recommendations for a first timer.
I went with two picks: • Brisket Egg & Cheese — house smoked brisket, scrambled eggs, American cheese on Texas toast. Super buttery and cheesy. My only critique is the brisket was sliced a little too thin, which made it tougher to bite through in a sandwich. • Breakfast Burrito — house smoked pulled pork, scrambled eggs, American cheese, pico de gallo wrapped in a tortilla. This one was the winner for me. Smoky, spicy, and loaded with flavor.
Parking is the biggest challenge. It’s on a tight, busy street with not much available nearby.
Overall though, the food was delicious and definitely worth the trip. I’ll be back to try the Bacon Egg & Cheese with house smoked crispy bacon chicharron and their...
Read moreI can not imagine anyone giving this place less than 5 stars. That’s craziness. When it comes to BBQ it’s about the food and the Q is strong with this one.
The pitmaster looks like she might still be in high school so she’s either a prodigy or she’s been working a smoker since she could walk. Either way, the ribs are flawless competition level ribs. I like mine a little softer at home but I respect, and thoroughly enjoy, a proper rib. Brisket (chef’s kiss), pulled pork is smokey and juicy like it should be. And the fried chicken, they do thighs, is impossible to stop eating, so juicy and crispy and oh no I just drooled on my phone 🤤 .
Doing the basics of Q right allows for the fun more inventive things like brisket burritos, pork and brisket empanadas, or pork sandwich to take it to another level. Just go hungry and...
