Back Country Deli — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

In general I would have given this a higher rating, but when I went in there with a group of guys on Saturday they told me that would not be a problem we stayed about an hour and 45 minutes. I had told him that we would be doing this mostly every Saturday and we bring about 10 to 15 guys in. They thought it was great he said that would be good for all of us. After the first visit went without a hitch and everyone enjoyed themselves we were looking forward to our second visit the following Saturday. When we went on the second visit I spoke to the woman and said that today we might have more than usual and I think we had 16 that day she said I'm glad you brought that up because I don't think this is going to work out I had two people complain to me that they couldn't sit down last week. I asked her how is it a complaint if a guest comes in looking to sit down in the place is full it just means that the place is full and you're doing good business. I could understand it actually being a complaint to that person at come back an hour and a half or two hours later and said these people are still here I can't sit down in my regular Deli. I asked her if that was the case and she said no they had just come in and saw the place was full and said they can't sit down. I didn't see that as a complaint. But it gave her a mode in which to dismiss us from going there. The gentleman will already on their way to the deli so I couldn't cancel that Saturday but as I made my way to the dining area I saw there were signs that were freshly put up on butcher paper with a sharpie marker that said "please don't be rude and stay in the dining room for more than 45 minutes". Il-2 the woman behind the counter and I said to her I see you put signs up just for us. She replied back yes I did the owners told me to put them up. Suffice it to say that was the last time I was there. I have not recommended that place nor would I recommend that place. The only reason I don't give it one star is because the food was okay it wasn't fantastic but it was okay. If you want to try a better Deli try Antonio's Gourmet Deli in Medford better pricing fantastic food and the accommodations...

Went in there I saw on there website for an egg bowl for 6.99. went in there they said that's not the price. I said that's the price on your website they wouldn't honor. There was a crabby old woman in there saying the prices have changed then there was a younger woman in that pointed to the deli sign that prices may change and the both blamed the owner and would not honor the website price. Never will ever go back. The bowl sucked worst breakfast I have ever eaten. I never write bad revie s but had to be the worst Deli experience I have ever had. Go to Jim's deli right around much better customer service and food. Back country...
