Old Town Bagels — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I’ve been going here for many years. I love the bagels, I feel like they’ve gotten even better (softer, more chew), honestly the best bagels in Port Jeff and … maybe Long Island. They make really good breakfast sandwiches that are delicious but also very easy to eat on the go, they’re very neat with their food… everything looks like it’s been prepared with care, I personally dislike sloppy breakfast sandwiches. The best part… they have Ramen on the breakfast menu!!!! Old town bagels is a great spot to come for any breakfast items or platters, everything we’ve ever gotten from here is delicious even down to the cinnamon rolls and pastries. The service here is what always kept us coming back for more - living on Long Island you have so many places to choose from for bagels but this is the first spot that we’ve ever been to that made us feel special for coming in often/every weekend, David even knows Sean and I’s order by heart and if we switch it up he knows how we like our eggs cooked without even having to ask! New to the area; sent hubby to Mt. Sinai for bagels and 1/2 lb. of BH ham. He took it upon himself to go to Old Town Bagels because it’s closer. The bagels were awful. The ham was shredded. I called to complain about the shredded, not sliced, ham and suggested they hire someone who knew how to slice cold cuts.
