Lickety Split Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in Town of Brownville

Got in line on the right side window with my two daughters behind two patrons. We waited patiently for them to be served as we browsed the menu. The young lady working was taking orders from the right window and handing orders out of the left. As our turn approached a family of 5 walked up behind us and then merged to the left window and their order was taken! I typically wouldn’t sweat such a thing but I am purely irritated that we had been standing in the correct line as the gentleman in front of us had just ordered from the same window I was waiting at. Your staff member saw me standing there and chose to switch taking ordered in a different window. I left extremely irritated (one lovely woman saw what happened and told me to go ahead of her as she too began forming the line on the left side.) and explained to my children why we were leaving. I took my business down the road to Jodi’s dairy bar and will continue to give them my money. I hope you speak with your young staff member about this incident as it’s a lesson learned for her to be more observant of faces waiting in line to be served. And to the family of 5 who blatantly cut my children to be served first I hope it was worth it to teach your little children to cut people in line. This ice cream shop is by far the best in this part of New York State! If you live within 50 to 100 miles of this shop you must come and indulge yourself with the best soft served custard ice cream that I ever tasted. I like most ice cream but this is a 5 STAR rated product. The employees are very nice and greet you like family EVERY TIME!! They are so gracious and make you feel that you are their best customer.
