Went here on a lark and so glad we did. First off there was plenty of seating when we got there, it is a large space. We had made a reservation in advance not knowing. We were greeted by the owner, Princess, and taken to our table. The place is open and well lit with a look out of windows over the garden. A nice view. There is an outside deck if one wishes to site outside too. The host came over and gave a very detailed description of the food on offer and invited us to have at it. Now of course there was the standard stuff, juices, and coffee. We expect it to be typical of these sorts of places, that is to say bad. Instead it was really good quality coffee. Real half&half on the coffee table too. Bacon, Sausage (not the cheap junk meats either), pancakes, fresh fruits (ripe, flavorful, and sweet, again a rarity in these sorts of places). But there are also other foods. The owners are Korean so they also include some of their traditional foods as well. Kimchi is is home made and fantastic, I eat a boat load of it. I like spicy kimchi but this is more to the taste of the average American, flavor with no spice. There was other things like dumplings and scallion pancakes with sauces, shrimp fried rice, seaweed with rice noodles. We all like Korean food so this was simply a plus all around. Deserts of a number of types including passable croissants, both plain and chocolate. The owner is almost generous to a fault, a wonderful and friendly host that makes you feel like family. All the things that one typically doesn't expect from such a place. They make you feel welcome and appreciated from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. Now the prices, Frankly to cheap, not that I am complaining. For all you can eat for five with a good tip too it was less than I have payed for a meal of this quality and quantity in a very long time. We will still return if the were to raise the prices it was that good. I can't say a bad thing about the experience. This is the weekend breakfast go to place...
Read moreFirst off: Wonderful people run this excellent brunch. Chris manages the the dining area by checking that all buffet items are stocked, along with plates and utensils, etc. He Is very knowledgeable regarding the property (including the gardens) and more than willing to answer any questions you may have. "Princess" (one of the owners) roams the dining area and assures all guests are happy!!! She is the ultimate "people person". You need to meet her in order to fully understand this observation. Finally, the food: The basic breakfast items are all there: eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, Croissants, and pancakes. Some of the lunch items of the brunch include is zita with meatballs, Chicken nuggets, onion rings, Italian wedding soup, and Lobster bisque (my favorite). But the stars of the brunch are the very unique items. These include several original salad selections: (the Crab/noodle/cucumber) salad was spectacular! And several Korean dishes were great also! There was also a nice selection of fresh fruit, deserts, along with coffee, a selection of teas, and juices (even cherry!) included in the price. All items were fresh, and well maintained. Overall, this is an excellent brunch and a great value for the price held in a beautiful dining room overlooking breathtaking scenery! I highly recommend giving it a try! Update: Just tried their 4th of July Holiday buffet! Changed review from 4 to 5! Excellent! BBQ short ribs...
Read moreI recently decided to pick up golf as a hobby this summer and let me say I am not the best. I have been to a couple of golf courses in the area and I have always had a good time until I came to Brunswick Greens. This course sucks! The course is extremely overpriced, has very bad greens, and is ran by and extremely disrespectful gentleman. The course cost us 20 dollars which does not seem bad at all until you walk out onto the course and see it for yourself. The gentleman was not helpful at all as we drove around the whole course before we made it to hole 1. The course is composed of two par 4 holes and the rest are very short par 3 holes. The tee boxes are all completely destroyed which made it almost impossible to tee off from the area. Even with all of this our experience was not ruined until we had our encounter with the gentleman. The gentleman had told us to bring back the carts at 4PM because he had somewhere to be which was understandable until he came searching for us. As soon as the clock struck 4PM he came to get us off the course. The man began cussing at us for taking too long and when we told him it was because of our skill level he let...
