Cook's Village Diner — Restaurant in Town of Brutus

Found this diner by chance on a road trip to Rochester. We got off a random exit to get some food for our kid and ourselves and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere and employees are both really warm and welcoming. I texted my family to recommend it before I even finished eating. Crazy good prices for such great food. I’ve always said that the best compliment I can give a French fry is if it doesn’t need condiments and those fries were PERFECT. Their homemade pies were also excellent. My wife still hasn’t stopped raving about how it was the best pumpkin pie she’s ever had and the cherry pie I got was outstanding. Can’t recommend this place enough. We stopped by this place on our trip, as we were looking for a breakfast place after a long night of driving. It absolutely exceeded our expectations! The decor is adorable, I felt like I was in a movie. The waitress was kind and radiated a great energy. Especially that early in the morning (5:30-6 am) she set our day to a wonderful start!

And the food felt homemade and very delicious! I tried the pancakes and french toast with eggs and was delighted. Also I believe the hot chocolate with whipped cream was top notch!!

Overall, a great experience. Very clean, delicious food, wonderful service. So lucky we found this place on our way!

Great stuff, amazing breakfast!

came here for the first time even though have lived in the village for over and year now, great breakfast food! well cooked and came out hot, very decent portion sizes and everything tasted great. everyone here in the morning seems to know everyone, reg morning customers and such, all friendly.

was just the one girl working the dining room that morning, she was astounding at her job juggling everyone's drinks, taking orders, checking people out, getting food out, really great stuff.
