Nino's NY Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Brutus

First off, I am a loyal customer, going at least weekly for myself as well as both my household and my in-law's household. I, on a typical day, would rate Weedsport Ninos a 4 or 5. Not today! Today, I place my order and go in after the 25 minutes they tell me. One girl rings me up as another one goes and gets my food. She tells me $18 and some change- I think to myself, sounds a bit much for a medium pizza and small salad but whatever. Second girl comes up with my food and tells me $17 and some change. Now, I realize it's a different amount than what the first girl had charged me but I figured it's only a little more than a dollar difference so no big deal. I keep quiet about it, tell her the other girl already rang me out, as I intend to grab my food and leave. Before I can turn around this second girl starts looking over the register receipts and realizes the other worker had charged me for a large pizza instead of for a medium, I'm still thinking no big deal- this place has always been ok to us in the past and I value our local businesses. Now, the two girls are hashing out how to fix the mistake and having trouble figuring out how to subtract $17 something from $18 something. Up to this point, all is fine with me and I really have no issue with my service, but before I can tell them that's it's no big deal and they can keep the difference, one of the main guys there, Kevin, comes barging up asking the girls what the matter is. Again, before I can say "don't worry about it" this Kevin, without knowing anything about the situation reaches into his pocket grabs a $5 bill throws it at me and says with attitude, "You're really bitching over $1.40? Here. Here's your money!" Now, I'm feeling disrespected and insulted so I'm no longer thinking of telling them "don't worry about it" but realizing the place is not empty and some kids were present, eating with their family, I bit my tongue really hard and just looked at this guy. He continued to mumble on about the exact difference in price. Remember, I never once mentioned or made note about the difference in price. Not once. I decided to take the higher road and walked out. I have never had an issue with Kevin in the past and actually have raved specifically about his friendly demeanor when talking up Ninos to others in the community, specifically those who for one reason or another choose to buy from a competitor in town. However, it only takes one bad customer experience to ruin a place for a person or a family. Hopefully Kevin realizes this before Ninos loses more of their customers in Weedsport. The little shop down the street is not a bad alternative to Nino's but our community benefits most when all our small businesses thrive....

Ordered delivery two subs one sausage and pepper and one meatball! Easy order! Sausage and pepper had no peppers! Called and complained they decided to only give me a credit for half the sub lol but okay! Called them again a week later ordered same two subs and waited 45 minutes no subs called them they said on the way and wait there is more!! Waited two hours and still no subs and yes the pizza place is one block away kept calling and finally COLD subs arrived lol called and credit was given for half the order!! Soooo!! Went to pizzeria and ordered a white garlic pizza in person used credit from wrong order and actually received the wrong pizza lol ordered white pizza with spinach garlic onion tomato and ricotta cheese and guess what?!?!?!? Pizza was delivered to table looked like a piece of bread with mozzarella cheese thrown on it and vegetables I walked up to counter and asked them where the garlic was and where is the ricotta cheese and the man behind counter said we don’t make it like that so why did you ask me what I want on it and use my credit and It was at that moment I realized that they can’t make pizza!!! And rude about it to boot!! Soooooo no thank you!! I got my money back and left the place and I won’t be returning!! Three strikes your OUT! No stars ! No one makes this many mistakes and if you can’t even make a pizza then you should probably tending to the mop because the floors...

Just moved nearby and tried this place with recommendation from family, so glad I did! I always get just a plain cheese pizza from a new pizza place because if the place cant do good on a simple pizza there's no way I'm tossing money at something more expensive. cheese pizza from here is GREAT not that it needs to be said! real NY style pizza, large foldable slices, I'm really picky about pizza sauce because I don't like the metallic taste most have and I love this places sauce! and they don't overdo it on sauce to the point the cheese is sliding all off the pizza! staff is usually having a good time and friendly when I go in!

really good wings as well! the parm & garlic is just amazing!

will be coming here often for Friday...
