The Empty Bottle — Restaurant in Town of Busti

I've come in occasionally, but a couple weeks ago, I had a bad experience with a brunette woman bartending. It took me standing at the bar for almost 15 minutes for her to stop chatting in the corner to finally take my order. Then the drink was terrible! My husband and I hesitantly went back last Friday for the Waterfront Foundation event and there was a guy with a mullet who took such great care of us! Someone sitting at the bar suggested I order a Spicy Mikey because they had four of them, but it wasn't on the menu, so he made me one and it was absolutely delicious! Sweet with a little spice...yum!! My husband even praised him because he made the best old fashioned he's ever had! He definitely changed my opinion...

The cocktails are awesome, the staff is fun and friendly, and the prices are great for the quality ($8-$10). The ambience slaps, and they have fun monthly events. I’ve gone to a few cocktail classes, which they have on the first Thursday of the month, and I have to say it’s a fantastic way to spend an evening. Kerry, the manager, is very knowledgeable about cocktails, and the crowd is just right. This is no dive bar. Cozy in the Winter, fun in the Summer. Definitely a hidden gem in Chautauqua County! Awesome craft drinks. Bloody Mary and any Gin drink are my top choice. Bartenders are fun and willing to share other great local business venues for further ventures. Wonderful local crowd, special event supporters, as well as music on Saturday!
