This place used to be fantastic, this place used to be honest.

Typically my family orders the Xtra Large square cut pie as it feeds us all. When we first started ordering here 2 years ago we would receive from them what was basically a large pie just 50% bigger nothing different usually we get Xtra cheese because everyone can agree. Now these pies mind you cost 38 dollars!! They used to be fantastic.... The last 3 times I can safely assume this is what went down because I worked in pizza shops before. They took a large pie dough [the doughs are pre-portioned] or maybe even a medium dough the way theese pies looked; and stretched and thined it out to the size of an Xtra Large pie [think play-dough] the crust was thinner than cardboard. Which personally doesn't bother me that much as I like thin crust, but this couldn't even hold up the weight of the cheese.. which was supposed to be "XTRA" cheese.. no way man wasn't even regular cheese. The layer of cheese [if it could even of been considered a full layer] was thinner than the bottom crust which was nearly paper-thin, didn't even come close to the edge of the pie [were talking 2 inches of crust on several slices] In fact there was so little cheese on it that because they cooked it for as long as they normally do the cheese was brown w/ black burnt spots all over. And they still sent it to me! Open the door this time and the delivery guy is holding the pizza at a near 45 degree angle, which no surprise left nearly half the pizza folded on top of itself. O ya while I'm at it they forgot my 2liter of soda 3 visits ago.

I think we will start driving out to Barnwood Restaurant from now on for pizza. Waayy better service and quality!

I Have pics will...

My husband and I moved into an RV several months ago. We decided to start a tradition where we order pizza from a local business when we get set up at a new place. Angel's is number 7! To be honest, they weren't our first choice. The place we chose had a sign on the door saying they were "taking a break". Kinda weird. Angel's wasn't the first choice because of the huge menu. They serve Mexican food, burgers, sandwiches, ribs, "down home" food, pasta, as well as pizza. I always shy away from those types of places because I feel like it's hard to do anything really well when you have that many choices. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. The crust was exceptional. Really crisp with a nice chew. Note that the small was quite large, I can't imagine how big the large is! I tried the tomato and basil, which was basically a Margherita style with ricotta added. It was really well done, though I would have loved a bit more basil. My husband ordered the meat lovers with tomato and pineapple added. He was really happy with his as well. They are generous with the toppings too, as a side note. They do have a nice outdoor seating area, but we ate inside. There really wasn't anything special about the inside. It was pretty bland and could use a good cleaning, which we found was typical for this area. The staff was super friendly which will always outweigh decor deficiencies in my book. We would make this our go to for pizza if we lived...

Let’s start with the good news: the woman who took my phone order deserves five stars all on her own. She was kind, professional, and repeated everything back to make sure it was correct—rare and refreshing in today’s world of “what did you say again?” customer service. My order was spot-on. Unfortunately, the pizza itself didn’t quite follow the same five-star trajectory.

I ordered a large cheese pizza with extra cheese, extra sauce, and half sausage and pepperoni. Sounds like a pizza dream, right? Well, it was more like a mirage in the desert of flavor. Even with extra sauce, the pizza was dry—which makes me wonder what the regular amount of sauce is…a whisper? As for the toppings, the sausage and pepperoni were so scarce I thought maybe they were hiding underneath the cheese out of embarrassment.

The crust was fine. Not great, not terrible. Just… there. Kind of like a background character in a TV show—present, but not making any impact.

Bottom line: Would I rush back? No. Would I give them another chance someday because of the excellent service? Maybe. Would I order extra extra sauce and a side of humor next time? Absolutely.

Three stars for accuracy, kindness, and the potential that with just a little more love in the kitchen, this family restaurant could become a family favorite.

Just got my delivery. I looked at the menu on google and decided to order a large buffalo chicken pizza. Total said $18.99 on the menu it arrives and it is suddenly $29.xx. The driver took my receipt and I call back the store the person on the phone dismisses me stating they have charged a $10 delivery fee for 14 years. This was my first and last order. No red sauce, minimum amount of buffalo sauce and no ranch or blue cheese. I will be going to Two brothers from now on. Ate 1 slice and it’s just a chicken nugget pizza. Biggest waste of $30.
