Hillbilly's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Campbell

My husband and I went on a ‘trip a la wisconsin falls’ today- black river falls, pigeon falls and river falls. While in the beautiful pigeon falls, we took a trip with our dogs to the dam. After the dam, we went to the hillbilly fun bar, and oh my! It was fun! There is a raffle, unfortunately you have to be present to win. The bartender and patrons recommended we go to Bucknuckles, and alluded it was the best thing since sliced bread. We did end up going to Bucknuckles, and can confirm that Hillbilly bar has one very important differentiator that makes them squeeze out the competition— the Pot of Silver machine....

Food is typical bar food, frozen stuff dunked in oil or thawed on the grill. We were vaping after having asked if it was ok. Then some older haggard looking woman comes from the back room after we had been there having fun over an hour. When she comes out and sees us vaping, she pitches a conniption fit about it rather than handling her problem like a professional. COME TO FIND OUT SHE'S THE OWNER!?!

I won't spend money there again now that I know the worst employee owns the joint, pretty let down, and plenty of other great places we could have gone to...

Hillbillies Bar in West La Crosse, Wisconsin, has a solid menu and a laid-back atmosphere. My buddy and I tried the chili cheese dogs and the Josh burger. The chili cheese dogs tasted good, though the bread wasn’t as fresh as it could’ve been. The Josh burger had great beef and a fantastic grilled bun, but it was a little on the bland side.
