As a NYC based contactor who resides in upstate NY, I stumbled upon this establishment chasing a meal off a random exit midway.
The service is second to none. As someone who eats out 5 of 7 dinners a week, this says something. The food, outstanding. The crowd? A healthy mix of regulars, quiet drinkers and diners. Despite being a traveler I'm always welcomed.
Try the beer battered cod. It's astounding that fish can be this fresh so far away from the ocean.

Loud shrieking and parrot calls made for an uncomfortable dinner. Actually, we asked the waitress to not serve the food just put it in to-go boxes so we go home and enjoy our meal.
