Fourth time visiting this location. Every time it's been mediocre. I came on a busy Saturday evening with my bf and his parents anticipating a wait. We were told 1hr 55m all around, so we put our names down for a patio/ lawn table and went outside to the shed to grab a drink and regroup. We noticed multiple open tables on the patio, so we hoped our wait would be shorter, but assumed they were short staffed. We waited over an hour for a table, which wasn't too bad, but the service was terrible! Our server immediately asked us what we wanted to order, and I told her we'd like waters all around, but we needed a minute for food, since we hadn't heard what the specials were and didn't trust that the online menu was 100% accurate. She pointed to the water jug off to the side and said water was self-serve, left, and we didn't see her for another 20 minutes, which was an unncecessary amount of time considering it wasn't even that busy at this point. There were no cups at the water jug, so we told her this when we eventually ordered our food. Food arrived after 30 minutes or so, delivered by a food runner. While eating, we were never checked on by our server. We actually asked the girl who ran our food if we could order another drink. She took the drink order, but after 20 minutes of not receiving our drinks, we flagged down our server. We could see they had just been sitting on the bar. She just plopped them on the table, and didn't even bother to clear the empty glasses. Icing on the cake for me was finding a longgg hair in my arroz bowl. Grossed out, but hungry and not wanting to make a scene, I just threw it on the ground and didn't bother to say anything.

I understand that restaurant life is tough, but a little "hi, how are you today" or "how is everything?" can go a long way. I expected more for my money. This place is overrated.

Meier's Creek should reconsider how they handle their outdoor seating and/or better train their servers. Maybe the menu needs to be limited to what the shed is offering and everything should be self-serve? It was very dissapoining to have such a transactional experience at a...

I believe I gave a better review in the past, but this one is definitely a step down from a few years ago. We shared a lettuce wrap as an appetizer within other couple and it definitely was not worth the money, besides a few pieces of pork. It only had literally four thin slices of jalapenos and the same for cucumber and about five or six lettuce wraps and that was it. I could have put all that stuff into one lettuce wrap. It was really nothing to it and it really wasn't that great as I have had a lot over the years. I ordered the fish fry, haddock, and asked if I could get a different side besides french fries, the waitress, who is very nice, said you can get a small house salad on the side. I said I would like that. When the fish came it looked great and it probably tasted good if I actually got to eat it, but it was lukewarm at best almost cold... Fried fish that was almost cold, gets you wondering, do they cook the fish ahead of time and just keep it on a shelf somewhere ? And in addition to that, my so-called side salad was a bed of greens under the fish, so it was not a salad, and I'm not a big fan of greasy greens. So I sent it back. My wife's smashburger was kind of a low calorie version of a smashburger, it tasted okay but definitely wouldn't order again. My buddy ordered the shrimp PoBoy and was disappointed as not much in it and not really that tasty. And... I also asked for separate checks in the beginning, the waitress replied no problem, when we got the bill it was all on one check , I reminded her of my request and she kind of shrugged her shoulders and said well I can fix it? I love the place, location is great. The bar is great. The drinks are great. The beers are great, I will go back again but not sure as I've been a little disappointed over the years in the food but this kind of put me over the top. I'll probably just order like their pretzels and cheese sauce and or fries, as the fries were...

The good - the beers and sours were amazing. Great outdoor family friendly ambience with rolling grassy hills and Adirondack chairs to enjoy the warm evening sun as we enjoyed some drinks and waited to be texted by the hostess. Food was tasty and was delivered quickly after ordering. Indoor dining room was pleasant. The hostess gave us some options to occupy our time as we waited for a table as we came at a busy time.

The bad - Was told a 30 minute wait for a table. After nearly an hour had to go in and learn about their computer issues. $16 for a puny 4" bratwurst and small side - vs $14 for medium and more substantial Margherita pizza? Really? For the price of my bratwurst, I had expected something more substantial or at least two brats.

The ugly - Their 'computer issue' which brought table service to a halt. We waited, well ignored is more like it, 30 minutes at our table before our order was taken. Wait staff seemed lost and confused and didn't know what to do with the computer issues - and for the most part we were forgotten. Someone who I guess was a manager checked on us a couple of times but otherwise we were getting towards the end of the day and as the dining room emptied out we were still sitting there like "hello??". Just awful awful service.

To their credit, they somehow knew this and without any prompting from us, gave us a 50% discount on our meal and drinks which was their saving grace and kept us from giving no tip at all and writing a scathing review. We'd like to return someday - and we hope that management gets their act together and assembles an 'A-Team' for those busy summer weekends - and has a plan-B ready to execute in the event of future...

I visited Meier's Creek Brewing for the first time with friends on the 4th of July. They chose it, and I wasn't sure that there would be vegan options available for me, but I was DELIGHTED when I got the menu and saw that vegan options were clearly labeled on the menu AND that there was more than one viable option!! The menu is seasonal and rotates; this review is current for Summer 2021. I ordered the Charred Vegetable Bowl. When I say it was DELICIOUS, I mean it was DELICIOUS!! I was entirely surprised by how good it was. As a vegan, I've eaten my fair share of vegetable bowls over the years. This one, however, was a level up. I actually asked our waitress to tell the kitchen staff what a great job they did. The presentation was beautiful (including being served in a gorgeous blue pottery bowl), the chimichurri sauce was out of sight, and the vegetables were cooked and flavored to perfection. I loved the variety of foods in the bowl - quinoa, black rice, barley, mushrooms, sweet peppers, spinach and more. The space is absolutely beautiful, the staff is really friendly, and I loved the outdoor space that they have. They have trails and a disc golf course on-site in addition to the brewery and restaurant. We ate outside and it was great way to enjoy the holiday. Overall, I was thrilled with Meier's Creek Brewing and will absolutely be back in the future.

There aren't enough accolades to express how great the Meier's Creek Brewing Company is. They have brought a unique concept to Central NY, catering to every craft beer desire you've both known you wanted and never knew could exist. Aside from the intricate brewery options, the food is fantastic! The chef's have taken some very simple pub style concepts and turned them up to the next level! We have never had a bad meal. The staff is exceptional and very attentive. The care and attention to detail does not go unnoticed. Lastly, if you go, you must ask for Cody , the Tap Room Manager. My husband and I have known Cody for about 10 years through the various restaurants he has been employed. We have become loyal patrons of every eatery he has worked at because he is what makes that place special. You can tell he has a real passion for the business and can make anyone feel at home in a matter of minutes. I strongly urge anyone living or visiting in the CNY area to make a trip out to the Meier's Creek Brewing Company, you won't be dissappointed!

The restaurant is spacious and attractive. A major draw is the fact that they have microbrews on tap at their popular upstairs and downstairs bars. They also have good capacity seating and table service. The menu contains a number of items that go particularly well with beer. I ordered the OG Smashburger. It contained two tasty patties topped with a delicious cheese, tangy pickles, and crisp onion rings all enclosed in a large sesame seed bun. For the side, I ordered french fries that turned out to be double fried and remained crisp through the entire meal. I very much enjoyed my food. However, my wife did not far so well. She ordered the beat salad and found the dressing to be bland and the small cubes of beets underwhelming. However, there are many other enticing dishes described on the menu and we will be back to try some of them.
