The place is beautiful and has a fun, local crowd. I would give this place 5 stars, but when I went, the barmaid seemed to be too preoccupied in a backroom (nobody ordered food) rather than tending to the customers. I will certainly go back and update my review if anything changes. Update: since I was in the area visiting friends, I decided to go back. Unfortunately, it was closed, despite their hours stating that they were open. This explains why the barmaid gave us poor service, as I stated in my original post. I use to come here all the time. It's been awhile since we got food from here so last night we did. Not happy at all. The macaroni salad had no flavor it was just bland and so was the coleslaw. The German potatoes were definitely not tastey. The most important piece of food..the fish. It was just okay. They completely forgot the side for the fish sandwich that we ordered. Fantastic fish fry all food is homemade including their soups large portions of all their salads which are potato salad American or German Macaroni coleslaw, French fries and bread and butter. Opened on Fridays a lot of parking . Also what is nice about this place you can have small parties catered by them and home cooked food or even drop off catering real nice for outdoor parties.
