Frosty's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Town of Cheektowaga

Love this place when I’m in the area! They have dairy free and dairy options so great for both, also there’s a small train and tables in back for kids. I got a vegan ice cream cake from here in 2021 and it’s was good but hard to cut into so let it sit out to soften. The service is good and they’re quick. Prices aren’t expensive and it’s worth it, the place is CASH ONLY!! If you don’t have cash then I’d suggest getting some before you come even tho there’s an atm, the MINIMUM cash withdraw for their atm $20 with a $2.5 fee and my bank charged $2.5 for foreign atms. Had to withdraw $20 with a $5 fee for my $5 ice cream which is tedious but ok I understand. I asked for a sample of one of the soft serve flavors to make sure I chose correct and they don’t do samples which is crazy to me, I was spending money anyway and I’m a returning customer so I thought maybe a small amount on a spoon would be ok. I don’t care much about it being cash only but the no sample thing is a bit weird imo. How else am I supposed to figure if I will like the flavor I’m about to buy? Also when I asked the girl for a cup for my tall ice cream cone so I could put it in and drive away, she gave me such a small dish when I clearly have a huge amount of ice cream so I had to ask for a blue Pepsi cup and she didn’t want to give it to me by the look in her face but I explained I wanted to use the cup bc I had to drive and I can’t hold the ice cream cone at the same time. Otherwise I do really like this place, their ice cream flavors are unique and taste great. The small train for kids is fun for all kids...

The ice cream is great and the variety of vegan options is amazing. I would love to give this place 5 Stars the owner is very friendly as well. Unfortunately on several occasions a woman named Kate who works here has been extremely rude to my family. We are a larger family so it does require a little more work with getting all of our orders in especially when it is busy so it is understandable to get a little flustered in your work place when that happens. But Kate was rude to us adults and our children as well. There was some miscommunication in one of our orders where a shake was supposed to be vegan and she shook the shake in one of our faces saying "do you want it or not?" She continuously rolls her eyes and gives unnecessary attitude and communicates in a very ignorant manner eveeytime we are there. As I said we are a larger family and we are vegan so the options here are amazing which is why we continously show up but Kate really ruins it for all of us.. I never write reviews unless I've had either an amazing experience or a down right awful one. She really made us and our kids feel like an inconvenience tonight especially shaking the shake infront of one of our faces which was the most ignorant thing. I'm really ranting here but honestly kate find another job the suits you best and please never work...
