Nice family owned bistro.Went here for my anniversary in this place did not disappoint. My wife is vegan and they had multiple great options. We started off with the vegan arancini which was like a fusion of Italian and Asian in particular reminded me of sushi rice. Then I had a wonton soup that had nice firm wontons that were pretty well sized. My wife had a vegan pasta that was made with cauliflower but had a Alfredo type consistency and she was thoroughly pleased. Had the hollow burger with the egg on a pretzel bun which was a good burger but was absolutely filling. Highly recommend trying this place out

Terrific veggie burger! Lots of complex flavors and good sauce to top it off. Accompanying lettuce and baby spinach were nice and fresh, and presentation was pleasing. Would love too see veggie options for the side that comes with - the home made chips are delicious but unhealthy. Apple crisp with vanilla ice cream were delicious and also nicely plated. The cappuccino was awful, watery and not very good coffee. Service was pleasant though my server neglected to tell me the specials on offer. Ambiance is country and homey. Bathroom spotless. Great stop if you are in Clarence.

We ordered the appetizer special which didnt wow us. I had the drink special which i really liked. My husband got the Gin Gin and the Ahi Tuna entree, both were fantastic! I loved the chicken milanese. Went here at 7pm on Saturday night. About 80% of tables were occupied and several people at the bar. The seating was more relaxed for what we thought was a more upscale dining experience.

I booked the back room luncheon party for my mother's 80th birthday party , when I called back to finalize the time and discuss the menu, I was asked what time my luncheon would be as the jazz brunch in the front dining room was fully booked and started at 11:30. The owner was concerned about timing and "wanted to be sure we would get the best service possible" Certainly, she was aware of her brunch and that a luncheon would coincide. I also asked about costs the day I booked the room that lunches started at $17 per person, on my follow up call I was informed of a minimum of $750 for the room and $425 cancellation fee, however in my case she would honor the 425 or $17 for 25 people. I'm sure my event would have cost far more. I was very distressed that she had concerns, about their ability to provide service ( it did not instill confidence) and that these fees were not divulged when I booked. I expressed my concerns about the party and that it was very important my mother have a special event. The owner declined our booking and disappointed and elderly woman and her family. Beware of planning a party here these people are neither...

Called during the dinner rush for take out, and they answered almost immediately. The courteous service was both helpful and knowledgeable. The wait was less than 20 minutes. I haven't eaten here in over 3 1/2 years, but these are things i had grown to expect back then, being there so much at that time. The food, however, was somewhat of a "quiet storm", perhaps ending in a rainbow; executed with a clear intensity of passion. An aptly inspired, late summer, beet and goat cheese salad with grilled chicken and balsamic vinaigrette followed by a lovingly prepared and timeless blueberry crisp. I can't eat too much sugar, so i avoided the vanilla ice cream. It was delicious, fresh, and casual yet elevated; it hit the spot. Quite a serendipitous solution to my neglected and growing hunger was set off like a wildfire upon first glance at the Facebook specials page. I literally could not resist. Bravo, Chef. You...

Physically nice looking "Bistro". Was seated promptly but did not have a waitress acknowledge us for @10 minutes. Was just getting up to leave bistro when that occurred. We ordered medium well burgers and received overcooked ones in and out instead . No Pink.Regular and Sweet fries were nice, but associated condiments (ketchup, etc) were doled out in cute, but very a small dish, prompting us to repeatedly ask for more with long service delays each time one was brought out. Very noisy main street patio with local kids racing trucks and cars down the street, but some of this is to be expected with a patio experience. Other staff helping to do cleanup here was much more friendly and attentive in passing, then our own waitress was. Ended up leaving this, bad tasting, half eaten meal due to its taste with great disappointment as we were hungry. Do...
