Cornerstone — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

I overheard someone talking about this restaurant and since we’re always looking for new places to go ,I decided to read the reviews and they were great, so we decided to give it a try for a late breakfast. To be very honest I don’t know if they were having a bad day but it was an extremely disappointing experience. The waiter who took our order was not friendly and he got my order wrong. I asked specifically for hash browns and my order came out with home fries and the omelette was so overcooked it was all burnt brown and had to be cut with a knife and was tasteless to the point that I actually had to put some salt on it and that didn’t even help it. Even my husband’s Western omelette had no flavor .The one good thing was a lovely older waitress who brought our meals out and refilled our coffees. Went to corner stone 3-4 days ago , never had any problems prior until just recently , it seems whenever I go to corner stone and corina gets my table , she brings the drinks out , you won’t get your food for 45min to a hour , she passed the table several times , didn’t bother to check in not a single time , all the rest of the crew is great , nice ,and quick ,if you plan on going to corner stone and get corina as your waitress get ready to wait for a long time to...

A delightful cafe in on the outskirts of Congers. I have nothing but good things to say about the Cornerstone. The staff are genuinely sweet and friendly people. The food is much better than any other cafe you've been to, and always served up hot and quick. The overall vibe will make you feel right at home. Come start your mornings at the Cornerstone restaurant, and then come back for lunch later on.
