Hong Kong Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

I always order from your establishment. The food is delicious. However, tonight I ordered through beyond menu and placed and order to be delivered at 7pm. I called the restaurant around 730pm.. The woman that was there answered the phone and apologized saying” She never saw the order and the food will be made right away. I wound up showing up to pick up the food. The woman at the front counter was the same woman that answered the phone. She was beyond disgusting and rude to another customer. Telling this customer she didn’t pay and her card had to be charged. Then she starts talking to me and I showed her that I paid. She told me “I wasn’t talking to you.” I responded with “There is no reason for you to be nasty!” She responded with “ We are very busy.” Then a tall man proceeded to hand me the food I ordered. She said something me and once again I turned around and responded “Learn to talk to people, there is no reason for you to be nasty!” I walked out with the food.

I do not care if there is a line out the door or you are busy. There is no reason for someone to disgustingly...

Outstanding food. I repeat, outstanding food! but man, Their service is horrible. They ALWAYS forget utensils, only send duck sauce and soy sauce... even when all you order is Chicken wings and french fries. Which usually one would think you send ketchup! Ordered crab rangoon. Everywhere in NY you get the sweet/sour sauce. They don't, unless you ask. Egg roll cannot be replaced with a soda. Which is cool, but still a small pet peeve. Since its a normal practice everywhere. Also, they make their house fries rice. Outstanding. Which is the MAIN reason why I order from them. Never had a deliver problem, they're pretty fast actually. Thats it everyone, my two cents. Overall, if you're looking for customer service and customer loyalty. Won't get it here, HOWEVER, you will get some AWESOME fresh food.. giving 5 stars to not mess with the google algorithm. VERY RUDE. My order was running extremely late so I called the restaurant and they said I could come pick it up. I even called grub hub and they confirmed this was okay. When I arrived, the woman behind the counter was yelling nonsense at me for 15 minutes. She kept saying she doesn’t work for free and was angry I ordered through grub hub. I wanted to just pay and leave, but I had to wait for the delivery driver to arrive, and pay her first (since it was through grub hub). She kept talking about me to the other employees and giving me dirty looks. It took 2 hours from the time I ordered to the time I received the food. The main issue was her disrespectful attitude. I was about to cry. It's a shame that the food is so good, because it's not worth being treated like garbage. Never going back here again. I don’t know how this place has a 4.1 rating with a manager who is so abusive...
