We were at Alexandria Bay for my daughter's wedding this weekend. The following morning I met up with some friends at Tricia 's Rondetta, Clayton, New York. What a fantastic eatery. We had to wait for 35 minutes, but it was well worth the wait. Tricia and her staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The food was beyond exceptional and the garbage omelet was excellent. Great coffee which is hard to find.

Afterwards our server twisted our arms šŸ˜‰ to try their homemade pies. Strawberry-Rhubarb which my buddy's wife and our friend ordered. Now I am not a fan of Strawberries or Rhubarb, but I will confess that it was excellent.

I'm giving Tricia's an overall 5 stars rating. 5-for cleanliness, 5-for service, 5-for food quality, 5-for pricing (especially for tourism region), and 5-for atmosphere. Don't take my word for it, just try it. You'll be pleasantly surprised. I will like to thank Tricia and her staff for a wonderful meal and down home atmosphere. We'll definitely be back, thank you...

FOOD REVIEWER. First of all ive been reviewing all the restaurants in the Clayton and upper route 12 area and chose to swing into this spot. Cullen our server was fantastic this young man answered all 6 phone calls bussed every table up front even the ones that weren’t his took a reservation for a 20 top and still managed to serve us quickly. One thing I would like to point out though is that the cook purposely was pushing cullens tables order slips down the grill and placing the female servers slips ahead of his. Obviously the women are older and more pushy on getting their orders to their tables more quickly but the cook should prepare the meals based on the order in which they come not which server is complaining most watched this happen about 7-8 times. The food itself was great the soup of cauliflower was delicious and I highly recommend this place for a cheap quick meal . The inside is older diner vibes with a unique ceiling. Bathrooms were clean and staff was polite. Overall a 5/5...

This is one great spot! The food, service and atmosphere will get you wanting more and eager to come back for more food. The service is very nice. Julia was awesome. And the team will make you smile and enjoy your time. The dining area is normally full so you may have to wait for a table, but it is worth it. Once the food was ordered, the wait time was around 30 minutes due to the amount of orders pouring into the kitchen. The staff checked to make sure everything was good multiple times and kept updating about the food wait time. Ordered the garbage omelet and it did not disappoint. It was full of veggies and pepperoni. The spinach was really good and the tomatoes, broccoli, cheese, pepperoni, onion and bits of sausage was a delicious combination. This place does only take cash, but there is an ATM inside if you forget. Make this a regular stop. Breakfast and lunch options and take the food to go as well. Can’t wait to come back for more; You will...

We arrived at Tricia’s around 11:30am and were seated immediately. The place is pretty small but seemed to have a decent number of tables. We decided to sit at the ā€œbar.ā€ All the staff was friendly, and their menu offers many options. Both meals came with plenty of food! The kids chicken tenders came with fries and gold fish. I had the chicken salad sandwich with fries. I LOVED the chicken salad and would go back just to get that. The kitchen seemed to work quickly and were pumping out food quickly. (Where we were sitting we could see the kitchen). Overall it was a great experience and I’m super happy we stopped for lunch!
