Camila’s to go — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

I wasn't sure what to expect as I really wanted something quick and to go. They don't offer slices, so I ordered a Caprise sub and a side order of fries to go. The young lady at the register was nice enough to tell me that they offered a wrap version which came with fries, but I declined as I have a weakness for Chabata bread rolls and I also find that wraps get soggy to quickly and I had a long drive ahead. It's an adequate size dining area, and there was a couple there when I arrived and someone else arrived while I was waiting. There's a comfortable bench for that purpose. My order was ready in 10 minutes as promised and I opened the fries in the car. They were hot, salty and crispy and there was in my opinion, enough for three adults! This seems like it is mostly a to-go place but the food is good quality and not your typical "fast food."

You can order a pizza online for pickup and they will make half of the pizza one way and the other half another way. This is wonderful if you are sharing a pizza with a person that wants different toppings or if you want more variety. I've ordered pizzas twice from here and they were both made with quality ingredients. I liked it that the sauce was not overly salty or over-seasoned. I could taste the tomato in the sauce. The crust also had a homemade taste and texture.

The wraps and subs that we ordered were also excellent. The online ordering form allows for special instructions and all of them were followed perfectly. For example, we do not want salt on our fries. The fries were great, homemade and had no salt as ordered.

Im a patient at a local rehab center working on strength buuldibg after an intense surgery . The food is horrifying. I found Camilas delivers. So, i rexcd a msg that I OWE $3! Wierd cuz i paid over the phone with debit. Oops. I didnt even ask for the total. I accepted the $6 delivery fee (?). I got to the desk and was told i owed $3!?!? Okay, the food..(sorry so long) Rigatoni (i wanted spaghetti but they had n I ne. ) it was a bit dry but the meatballs were good! If only they pit more than a tablespoo n of Mozz!! Hanh in there...wait for it...! The garlic bread was disap0ointing. Completely underdone. I ordered a Saranac Ro9t beer but recd a black cherry cream soda, warm.. The Piece de Resistance were the cinnamon balls! O...M...G!! With some kind of vanilla as well as choc icing drizzled on thede vad boys! What a surprise...
