Extremely overpriced and the taste wasn’t even that good. The good reviews you see here are probably because they have a 10% off offer if you leave good reviews.
First the restaurant is very small with only 5 tables, but we still went in bc we were hungry and cold, which was the first mistake we made. Then we sat down and the baby at the other table started to cry and we started to regret but we thought we felt weird leaving after water is served, which was the second mistake. Then as we were looking at the menu, more people came in with more kids… so there were three toddlers yelling and making noises in a small space. Imagine how you can enjoy food in that environment.
Then I found that every single dish is $3-4 more expensive than other Thai restaurants I’ve been too. So a Thai tea is usually $3.5 or $4 right. Here it’s $5 for a small one and $5.75 for a large one. I got the large, and it wasn’t even that large of a glass (see the picture). And I thought well maybe the food would taste excellent. But it really didn’t.
At first I was still thinking about taking the 10% off offer and give a fake review here. But after trying the food and everything I’ve been through, I felt I can’t do this to myself and other customers. So here I am making my longest review on Google ever.
There was only one waitress so service was a bit slow. But she’s a nice lady and did her best so I can give a 4 star for...
Read moreAfter posting my review, the owner called to make things right, given that they were unaware of the problem!! Thank you!! My original problem is noted below.
I dined in here twice. The 3rd time I ordered Togo, and unfortunately I thought I was ordering what I always eat from this place. Spicy basil Chicken but apparently if you don’t say “crispy” you are ordering something different. I hadn’t eaten the food and called back to see they would at least exchange it for what I wanted, I’m sure they can only Throw it away. But out of honestly I was willing to bring it back. I made the call and seems the lady of course told me “no”. If it comes down between losing a customer and remaking food if the customer mistakenly ordered something different, I would remake the food. There are million things on the menu and the online menu does lot match the menu in the restaurant. I guess they will rather lose a customer, I won’t be back. I will learn to make crispy spicy basil chicken before I return. Just inconsiderate and only worried about MONEY, good luck surviving as a business with...
Read moreI don't usually write restaurant reviews. Food is food, sometimes you get good stuff, sometimes you don't. But this one, I just feel like I have to write something.
I ordered Tom Yum soup ($14) and Gra Prow ($17) on Uber eats. Both are supposed to be large size but oh boy are they tiny. I can't even imagine what regular size is like. But oh well, size is subjective so I guess that's that.
The Tom Yum soup does not have shrimp. First of all, Tom Yum soup has shrimp, like fries have potato. Secondly, the Picture on the MENU shows shrimp, like there is shrimp on the PICTURE on the MENU.
So I basically paid $14 for a cup of vegetable water (If that thing sells more than $5 in a restaurant you'd think it's a rip off), and $17 for half plate of stir fry beef.
Honestly I feel this is a real life Gordan Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmare. And honestly I have no idea why this place has a 4.6 point rating. I will do my part to lower it...
