George's Market and Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

This is a wonderful little shop and restaurant. Where else can you buy flowers, a little gift and have a grilled cheese sandwich followed by home made chocolate pie! The kitchen is open 9-3 Monday through Friday, but the store is open 9-5 all week. Chocolate pie available all the time! There is a small inside dining room with an outside covered seating area. SPENT $14 for Blueberry Pie today - it was CANNED FILLING! I can get that at any grocery story for $7.99! Never again.

Some air conditioning would help make a visit here much nicer! Have been coming here for years so I KNOW it can get cooler! I'm sure you're making enough money to keep it reasonably cool - I couldn't get a breath of air. It has changed since it became George's.

Bought a pie had to toss it in the garbage top of crust was well done and hard,the crust same way filling had way to much cinnamon and even apples were hard couldn't even enjoy it or chew it! I been getting pies for years here always been flakey and good but idk this pie was way over baked waste my 20 bucks and now days that's a lot of money I'm just going order my Xmas pies somewhere else this year I can't take a chance like...
