Food is decent (breakfast sandwich is really good), drip and pour over coffee is nothing special (can't give any info on other coffee drinks - not my thing, but I hear they're good), but the service has been very lacking. The atmosphere is pretty good - a cute little coffee shop.

Short version: ordered online at 8:30am, pickup scheduled at 9, confirmation text received. Didn't see my order, so it wasn't ready when I got there, had to wait about 30 min for a breakfast sandwich and french toast. Felt like no one was in any hurry to get anything done. Gave me a card for a free drink, but I don't think I'll be back.

More info: I order online, because I know from experience that 1 or 2 sandwiches will give me an estimated pickup about 30 minutes from when I order. I'm only 5 minutes away, but I don't want to go in and wait 20+ minutes for food - I just want to pick it up and go. They simply didn't see my order in the system. They asked if my order was for "Kate", so I know they at least saw AN online order. They apologized and said they would get it out as soon as possible. My plan was to run this home to my wife and son and then meet my brother across the street for breakfast, which means that he sat in his car for about 40 minutes while I waited for food and ran it home.... it just ate up such a huge chunk of my morning, and it isn't the only time thag things have taken so long.

Between the recent issues, not caring for their coffee, not being able to find Earl Grey tea on the menu for my wife, not being open early enough for me to get something before I have to leave for work, and the speed of service, I just don't think that I can go back. I'll have to see what Art's Cafe has to offer.

FWIW, I've noticed similar service issues at The Mullet, as well - bartenders that are confused, or have to constantly check drink recipes, and seem to take forever mixing and pouring cocktails. Again, the drinks are good, the beer choices are usually decent, but it's just too expensive for what I'm getting. Sure, the atmosphere is unique in a good way, but that doesn't make anything better if I'm waiting 15...

The atmosphere and decoration are great. I have never been here before. I looked online the menu, and I am a super coffee person it called my attention, and I decided to stop and try it. The staff was very polite and nice, I sat down and waited on my drink (cinnamon bun late) two other people came in after me one order and the other was a gift card purchase. The finished and my coffee wasn't done yet I got up and asked at this point I thought they were making a real cinnamon bun to put it inside my coffee. I guess they switch shift and the other two new girls didn't have any paper with my order, nothing and they didn't know. The other one left and didn't say anything. This new staff tries to see in the computer the sales and she seem to believe me and was trying to look for the sale I told her I can show her where I got taken away since I paid with my car but she made my drink. Thank you for making it! I left and I took a few sips, it was bad!. I can't believe I paid 8.37 for a bad coffee. I will definitely stay...

We stopped here on a nice snowy Saturday morning. There was the right amount of snow, like a Hallmark movie. It looked like today would be a perfect day, until we walked into this place. It was a slow day with not too many customers yet. The place has a nice cozy feel, besides the lackluster hearing. We ordered two coffees and two waffles. After 10 minutes, we received one waffle and a coffee a few minutes later. Twenty minutes later, we had not received the rest of the order. When we checked, they said we had received everything. $28 (which includes a $6 tip) for a waffle and a coffee doesn't seem right. In fact, I know they missed something or someone else took our items. Either way, we decided to walk out. The one waffle we received was decent but they gave it to us in a take out container instead of a plate. My drip coffee, the only coffee we received, was the worst I had and had to be thrown out. As you will see, I never leave a 1 star review. This 1 star was deserved. There are so many other wonderful cafes...
