Enjoyed the boat seating, which is all outside. Regular tables are inside with a/c. Had brisket platter and sandwich based on previous reviews; very tender! Sandwich was on ciabatta roll which took away from the meat, so I ate it open faced instead of with so much of the bread. Homemade chips were a little overcooked for my liking but we still ate most of them. Baked beans had a nice smokey flavor. They have ice cream/shakes, and grilled PBJ for kiddos--Yum! Cash or checks only, ATM right by the register, phew. Service was phenomenal! Thank you for a pleasant and relaxing visit!

If you pass this place up I feel sorry for you. If you like smoked meats and fish this is your place. Smoked brisket that melts in your mouth and smoked salmon that you just cant stop eating. The picture of the sandwich shown is the Triple B Burger which consists of burger, brisket, and thick cut pork belly bacon topped with some thinly sliced fried onion rings and a zesty barbecue sauce! Omg delicious plus you'd better be hungry. Huge menu with plenty of options.

I was very disappointed. The food was just ok. I had the salmon roll. It came on toasted bread folded in half. The chips on the side were ok. I had onion rings, and they were good. Unfortunately, I'm just not impressed with anything. The service was by the owner, I think she was just doing too much. I say let your staff wait on the tables and cash people out and seat them. Sorry, I don't think I will be back.

I really like the Boat House Grill & Cemetery because they have delicious snacks that my family love to enjoy stopping to eat when we're ready to take a break from riding our UTVs thru the northwoods when we come up to our summer cottage from Chicago. The staff are very nice and professional and courteous and the boat theme is really fun for the kids as well and my wife and me. Conover is blessed to have such a great little place yo stop and eat and have an excellent cup of coffee or espresso. We look forward to coming back year after year and our kids love that big red truck parked on the corner of highway 45 and the side street across from the old day...

Very quirky and fun boating themed restaurant. Indoor seating ia tight but laid out well. Outdoor seating is fun with a few different old boats converted into "booths"... more like picnic tables really.

Pretty touristy as you can imagine, and that can drag service times down a bit. The food is definitely worth the wait... except for one small complaint. Dude, you put WAY too much celery salt on you "chicago dog". Almost inedible. Had deer following me thinking I was a salt lick. Couldnt go swimming cuz I thought Id kill the fish in the lake. That salty! I was a one man water softener. Your fries are amazing though. ...

Stopped here randomly on the way back to our campground after a day on the lake. Best decision ever! The parking is a little confusing if you're not familiar, the white building is a coffee place/bar, the green building is the restaurant. The outdoor seating is so cool - old boats repurposed into dining areas. We came early for dinner (330ish) so it wasn't busy at all, but our waitress was super kind and attentive. Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Lots of flavor. We had multiple staff members check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back next time we're in...
