CIDO HIBACHI SUSHI ROLL — Restaurant in Town of Corinth

Stopped here today for lunch. We ordered the gyoza, sweet potato roll, godzilla roll, and spicy tonkotsu ramen. The portion sizes were more than enough. We left with full, satisfied bellies. Truly a hidden gem in Corinth. I look forward to coming back. I really hope they start offering Japanese sodas (Ramune) as well as hot tea or even iced green tea (Oi Ocha). These beverages would pair much better with their food. Best ramen I've had recently, especially compared to some of the more popular competitors in the Glens Falls/Saratoga area. 3 stars for atmosphere because while this kind of food should really be eaten fresh and in shop, their dining arrangements were lacking. Cido, formerly The Spot, has been my go to place for Corinth when I’m on lunch break or simply having a good day for years. The atmosphere is amazing and I love the culture in food it brings to the town. I’ve been going here since I was still in High school and it is probably still my favourite place in town.

The employees are super kind and friendly, service is usually pretty fast, never had a problem with the food ever. Always happy to leave a tip here.

I wish I had photos to share of just how much I love the food here I’ll have to take some next time I get food and update this review but this place is amazing and it will see my continued service for several years to come. Keep on being...

I picked up 2 sushi rolls this evening, trying to give a new place business. I ordered the normal rolls that I would get at another sushi restaurant. I was very disappointed after I had gotten home and opened my bag… this is not what I was expecting, no sauces, nothing of substance. Just rice rolled with tuna. I am local and live in the town where they opened, but will never order again here, it’s worth the travel to Saratoga or Queensbury to get better sushi rolls.
