Redline Roadhouse, come say hi in Cortland Manor NY today

Look, I know Olive Garden claims "When you're here you're family", but they don't hold a candle to this place. I walk in, hear someone singing Kareoke to the song "Butterfly". Great Start. I sit down and get a couple Bud Heavys and order a "Salloon Burger" - medium rare What a combo. But what really struck my heart at the Redline Roadhouse, was the fact that the staff and bargoers truly felt like family. And that is pretty special if you ask me. Your newest/biggest fan, Max

The service is on point and the food is excellent. Unless you are riding a motorcycle, parking is almost non existent. That said, I rated it a four for atmosphere because it is a biker bar with a restaurant and that is honestly not my thing. If you are a bike fan, you would likely rate this place a five.

FURTHER UPDATE--- If you don't want Trump in your face, do NOT go. Big Trump flag and BIG painted Trump car outside. Many friends stopped going. No confederate flag-- YET--- but it feels like that kind of place now. So if you are a white supremicist, you will feel right at home. The food is not so good and the smaller portions are not good enough to overlook anger in your face and others. And with rising prices because of chaotic " economic" policies, place is not good value. Poor Chef Jordan, with his lovely Latina wife ( RIP), who opened it a long time ago and made it a welcome diverse happy place. Do not think she would be welcome here any longer, sadly. ( RIP). A " customer" would probably call ICE on her. Feels very angry now. And anger with lots of alcohol is a bad combination. Definitely NOT a place to relax and have a bite.

Updated: Chef Jordan left!!!. Food not as good, portions shrank, and atmosphere not welcoming at all. Crowd is no longer diverse. Too bad. Stopped coming.

---previous This is a joint serving great food ( when Chef and Owner Jordan is in the kitchen, who is a trained chef). Serves very good burgers too as a Roadhouse should. Their other dishes also shine such as beef stew, spaghetti with white clam sauce, stroganoff as their sauces are excellent. Salads are very huge and good too as they have some creative salad dressings.Place may be slightly intimidating coming in for first time because of so many regulars but everyone is friendly and crowd often is diverse. They have outdoor seating when it is warm. Open for lunch and dinner. Hidden gem...

Lead a ride here with for my local hog chapter earlier today (8/11/24) and we ordered two burgers (Saddle Bags and California Dreamin) with sweet potato fries and cheese. Simple order, right? The restaurant was not busy by all means. Only a few others were there besides us. We all waited over an hour for the food to come out. We got our burgers finally and it came all out wrong. Burgers were overdone, plain fries were served with one and the other had plain sweet potato fries. We told our waitress, confirmed the order that both of the burgers were supposed to have sweet potato fries with cheese. Then, she went in and had them prepare a fresh batch for us. They came out again and messed it up again giving us one with cheese and one without. At this point its been over an hour and a half and were beyond annoyed so we just gave up on them hoping they wouldn’t try to charge us for the cheese that they didn’t give us. I get my bill and sure enough, they threw a $1 charge for cheese on both. Honestly, I tip accordingly on performance. Between the inconsistent service on drinks, extra charge on cheese, and numerous screw ups, I left nothing! Never again will I bring my chapter and their business to this mess of...

At first I thought we were walking into a corner dive but much to our surprise we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We were greeted by a very upbeat waitress, Mary, who welcomed us and answered our curiosity about the history and ownership. She was more than willing to explain the specials of the day and whatever questions we proceeded to inquire about. We shared a delicious bowl of chili which was more than enough for the both of us as an appetizer while waiting for our entrees. Included with the entrees were bread n butter and a mixed green salad. The main course was well portioned and tastefully done to perfection, served with mixed fresh vegetables and a selection of a starch. All to proper doneness. Lastly the owner introduced himself and his daughter who was also an employee. It definitely is a congenial atmosphere of "family" type customers. We left as the band was setting up but seems to be a place to enjoy some down to earth entertainment along with drinks and good food. Thanks to those who encouraged ...
