I waited until I’d eaten here a few times to give a fair review. The prices are very reasonable as are the portions. The food 🤤 is consistently amazing. Eggs Benedict were amazing, the sausage gravy and biscuits-also amazing! The presentation makes you feel like you’re at a high end restaurant but then you look around and know 99% of the people eating next to you and realize you are at a wonderful home town diner. I'm a local and eat here often. Delicious food, great service with a homey feel. Highly recommend Friday's fishfry with beer batter.

Update: Since my review above I am very sad to say that the people who were running the Blue Anchor have retired and the place is closed. I hear the restaurant will be opening under new management soon. I hope the food and service will be as good as the...

I had a reuben and a side of fries. Portions were very generous, the corned beef was sliced thin and piled high with delicious saurkraut and the rye bread perfectly toasted on the grill.
