Bronco Billy's Saloon — Restaurant in Town of Delton

I just now happened to look at their reviews to see if there were any others that had a problem at this place. I recognize that the owner seems to respond and therefore I decided to write this review which dates back several months ago. My wife and I each ordered burger of some sort with a side of fries. Food came, she got her full order I was told my fries " will be coming". Rather that allow the food to get cold, after a minute or two we began eating. Well, time went by, and we both actually finished a decent burger but I never did get the side of fries. We happened to be seated at the bar next to a couple from Lake Mills who saw this entire thing transpire. Soooo, we were finished, I never did get any fries. We needed to pay and leave. As the bartender presented the check I pointed out that i had not gotten the full order and could she deduct something because of that. I said it very politely, did not wish to make any kind of a scene. Bartender said she could not "fix it". I said, "is there someone I can ask about this, because this is "not right". In a minute or two some older woman came from the kitchen and even thou I had my credit card in my hand to pay, she had been told that I expected "SOME SORT OF A DISCOUNT" she got all twisted out of shape, denied me ANYTHING. The couple from Lake Mills pointed out they saw the same thing, but it made no difference to the "head cook"! She crumpled up the bill, threw on the floor and simply said, "JUST GET OUT OF HERE"! And so we left, without paying at all even though I was more than willing to pay, and finally, without wanting to cause a scene, we left, and WE WON'T BE BACK!!!! It was ridiculous. In all my 84 years I've NEVER been treated anything...

We went to Bronco's on Sept. 11, 2025 to watch the Green Bay Packers play Washington and had eaten there. When we got there the parking lot was full and almost left, but I said no that I wanted to stay. We walked in and I was surprised by how beautiful the newly remodeled saloon looked. We found a table over in the far left corner of the saloon, we sat down and in 5 minutes our waitress came over asked us what we wanted to drink and came back with those drinks, we already knew what we wanted placed our order and in 20 minutes our food arrived and it was delicious, We got to sit in the corner with the biggest TV and watch the game people were so nice there, I want to go back, I also want to say that accommodations were so great, we only drank non alcohol (cherry coke and raspberry ice tea) and we had 3 glasses each. For what we had eaten and drank i only paid 40.66 for our food and the 10.00 tip. I will definitely be going back there this year. If you get a chance please go there and try their food it is delicious and isn't anymore expensive than other restaurants in the area. We were happy with the service and the food. Thank You so much to Bronco Billy's for such a wonderful night. Your newly remodeled establishment is so beautiful we can't watch any football from home and knowing that you do have tvs and show the games makes me so happy, We live 10 minutes from you and are happy to say that you will be our one and only place to come and eat even if we don't make it very much. First time visiting since remodel (on 8-9-24). Decided to eat at the bar (around 4:30 pm), place was not very busy. Bartender/waitress immediately took our order. We never aw her again. Food was delivered, we were never approached again by any of the more than 6 bartender/waitresses. We finally asked one of the bartenders if we could be waited on. She said we could "ask" any of the bartender/waitresses to help us. We told her that the problem was we couldn't even get anyone's attention even though the place was not busy; workers were too busy talking to each other or to other people at the bar to even look at us. She apologized but did not seem sincere, so I asked for a manager. She said there were none there and that we would have to call back the next day. She never checked on us again. I called back the next day, again, no manager available. I called back one week later, this time the waitress who had told us there was no manager available took the call. She said that now she was a manager, I believe she said her name was Mandy. She argued with me saying that she had cared the previous Friday, but could do nothing but say sorry. She would not give me another manager's name, the owner's name, or a way to contact the "corporation," unless I wanted to go to their website and send an email. Then she hung up on me.
