This upscale yet cozy restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience, making it a must-visit if you’re at the casino. Steak Quality & Preparation
We ordered the 14-ounce ribeye for $42, and it was absolutely fantastic—cooked perfectly, incredibly juicy, and full of flavor. The blue cheese crust added a rich and tangy kick that paired beautifully with the well-marbled steak. We also tried another steak topped with onions and mushrooms, and they were incredibly generous with the mushrooms—definitely a plus for mushroom lovers!
Sides & Extras
To round out the meal, we ordered asparagus as a side, and it was perfectly cooked—tender with just the right amount of crunch. The portions were satisfying, and everything was well-seasoned.

Read moreWe stay overnight at Ho Chunk to break up our drive from Minnesota to Illinois. This time we stayed here the day after Christmas. Hotel and casino floor were quite busy. We decided to try the steakhouse since it sounded like it just recently reopened.
We were there on a Thursday night, the day after Christmas. There were about 2 or 3 other tables that were occupied.
The restaurant itself is beautiful. Holiday decorations were gorgeous. It was around 7pm when we were seated. Our server was amazing. The wine list was reasonable. The salad to start with the entree was excellent. Nice dark green, crunchy lettuce leaves. It was great. We had calamari to start as an appetizer. That was surprisingly good. Hot fresh bread was served as well and this was great. Although it is a steakhouse, we did not order steak due to being “beef exhausted” after the holidays. My husband has the salmon and I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The salmon was good. My fettuccine was not. The chicken was weird - rubbery and chewy. I piled it all on a separate plate. I had a few bites of the entire meal but that was it.
All in all, I would go back and try this restaurant again.

Read moreVery very disappointed!! We went for my husband’s 50th bday on Friday 12/13 and it was horrible the appetizer was good but our actual meal sucked. All the food was cold including our steaks, the mashed potatoes were so cold and dry I could have thrown them at the wall and they would have stuck 😳 we also had to ask her to bring my husbands mushrooms that she forgot about and of course they were cold 😒 we told our waitress that all of our food was cold and all we got was an I’m sorry we are short on servers 🙄 that doesn’t make it ok to not bring out our food while it’s still hot especially when our bill is over $300. And then we watched as the chef brought out another tables food and then came back to talk to them about their meal. Which pissed us off even more considering we were already upset about our food being cold. Piece of advice when you have a table of people that are there for a special occasion maybe try to show them a little better customer service and appreciation if you want return customers! Something more then an I’m sorry we’re short staffed would be good!...
