Cousin's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Dover

Was excited to try this place as their menu is big and many of the reviews were good, but ended up having one of the most if not the most uncomfortable experience of my life.

I showed up a few minutes early to pick up my take out order and ended up sitting in their dining area for approximately 20 minutes before receiving my food.

The staff working there were clearly all high school aged students (nothing wrong with that) who unprofessionally had what appeared to be several friends hanging around during their shift. These “friends” were hanging around in the dining area and at and even behind the counter in the kitchen area.

At several points, other customers came in to grab their food. One customer arrived and was respectfully upset their order took well over an hour to complete. What proceeded to unfold was a loud and extremely vulgar conversation/argument between the customer and the “friends” of the workers which at several points displayed aggressive behaviors. This lasted for nearly the duration I waited for my food.

Absolutely this situation would and should have been avoided pending the workers were professional and did not have their “friends” hanging around during their shift. I cannot imagine haven chosen to dine in, or god forbid a family with children...

Pizza is good....wings are good, on the right day. All priced pretty fairly. Place needs a facelift and a good cleaning...but that seems to be most places in the area. Staff has always been friendly! The "other" cousins pizza is better IMO. **Updated edit to elaborate on why the "other" cousins is better.....they are just more consistent. I eat at both once or twice a week and this cousins just isn't consistent in their food. I ordered Chicken Parmesan through the Slice app and I it was a little disappointing! Every other place that has served me this dish has ALWAYS had pasta on the side. NOT HERE!
