Shivers Shakes & Cones Inc — Restaurant in Town of East Bloomfield

I'm only giving Shivers 3 stars because the girl who helped me was so nice. First off, I was excited by all the ice cream flavors, and started thinking a milkshake would be the move. A chocolate peanut butter milkshake! Moments later, no scoops were being put into any ice cream, and I see the girl heading towards the soft serve machine? She then puts vanilla soft serve in the cup, and proceeds to squirt chocolate syrup and peanut butter into it!?!?!!!!!! This had me sad and disappointed because I was thinking I was getting what I ordered (a chocolate ice cream base with peanut butter) thick old fashioned milk shake. Not here... all I got was vanilla soft serve trying to be chocolate, that would result in a melted liquid less than 4 minutes later... totally bummed.

All I can say is, if you have a seasonal business, be really damn good at it and don't cut corners like this place...

Passing threw after a football game and we just pulled in the parking lot at 8:30 pm. They close at 9 pm. I could see the staff in the window looking upset that they were going to have to serve people. A young lady litterly looked out the window and made a fainting gesture as she fell to the floor. As we started walking back to our car they began to put on fake animal masks and stand in the window and just stare at us. Mined you we had our 2 young children with us who were not impressed with this when it was dark out! They said they never want to go to that place again. Im very upset about this. How people could be so young and immature running someones business and treating their customers like this. First time attempting to go here and will never go back again nor recommended this place to...

It's a beautiful sunny, spring day so my boyfriend and I decided to stop for an icecream cone. We'd never been here before, but we'll certainly return. The woman working was incredibly welcoming, helpful and sweet. She seemed like a genuinely happy person, and people like that plus ice cream plus sunshine equals a good day in my book. Thanks for the yummy icecream in a waffle cone! :)
