My fiancée and I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Mike & Joe’s Pizza in Hopewell Junction, and we both agree—it’s hands-down one of the best pizzerias in all of New York.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with that classic, warm New York charm and the incredible smell of real, wood-fired pizza that instantly made us feel at home. Every bite was a reminder of what true, traditional pizza is supposed to taste like.

The crust was perfectly crisp with a soft center, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the cheese? Melted to perfection. We shared a Margherita pie and a Meat Lovers, and both were out of this world. You can tell everything is made with love and real passion for quality.

The staff treated us like family, the service was fast, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming—exactly what you want from a great neighborhood spot.

Not sure what happened, the Fino came with regular mozzarella it was very rich with cheese but the taste was terrible. Staff was instructed to use the wood oven they said its ok will do it in the wood oven (this is how they are sold in the menu) but no it was done in the regular oven. Was i supposed to instruct them to use fresh mozzarella? Go on their web it says fresh mozzarella.

I encourage the owner to make the 2 different pizzas the advertised and the one i got and than have them side by side take one slice of the advertised and then only eat the one he sold me while looking at the GOOD one!

I was trying to switch from Giacomo's because they also slowly dropping the ball so my wife finally agreed to give it a go with Mike and Joe, I guess I'm to picky ill just have to make them at home, its just the summer having the oven heated with the two 60 pound steel plates inside on a 90...

So upset!🤬 because we order from this restaurant at least once a week and the last few times we ordered they either messed up the order or the food wasn't cooked correctly. I get we all make mistakes but the last 4 or 5 times ordering from them they still mess up the order. Tonight we ordered sic wood fired margarita and 2 pieces of cheese cake and a tiramisu, pizza was soggy and we got lemon cake not cheese cake. I called no apology just what do you want me to do credit you or take it off your next order!!! Really we want what we ordered . Still waiting for them to redeliver the cheese cake. I guess it's time to find a new pizzeria to order from or maybe they can find a way to make me want to order from them again . Very disappointed !!😕 maybe someday they may...
