I really didnât want to do this but I felt the need to share the honest truth about this restaurant. I had a reservation back in July for a table of 7 people. It was a reservation set for 8:45 and we showed up exactly at 8:40. We checked in with the hostess and she told us to sit at the bar while we waited for our table. Ok fine. We sat down and ordered drinks⊠we went up to check in on the table at 9:10 pm. They said 10 more minutes and pointed to a table in the corner. They said thatâs ur table we are just waiting for them to sign the check. Ok fine. Went back to the bar. The party that was sitting at the table got up and left. The owner of the restaurant knew a group of 7 girls who walked in and sat them at the table they promised us!!! We went up to complain and the hostess gave us free drinks to shut us up. We then finished the drinks checked in once more, she said Oh I thought since I got you guys drinks you didnât want to eat here anymore. Crazy. They ended up finding a table outside for us, and it smelled horrible out there. My friend was djing and that is why I wanted to sit inside. They started us with appetizers and more drinks outside. Told us we were going to move inside soon. 2 of the managers were not communicating well at all. It was a hot mess. They kept messing up the tables. It was now 11:00 pm. At this point, we just wanted to leave. One of the managers named Kayla took care of us after 2 hours of waiting. She did a great job and gave me her business card. I would never go back there again. We had a great waiter and he felt so bad, he made it up to us. I understand crazy pizza is a new hot spot in East Hampton. But if we have an 8:45 you should honor it. Not appropriate to sit...
Read moreDear Crazy Poopza, (Yeah, I said it.)
Your pizza chefs tossing dough and dancing to BeyoncĂ© does not make up for the bland food, embarrassingly poor service, and outrageous, âsurpriseâ large party policy.
We made reservations for a group of 10 to arrive and learn that we had a 3 course, prix-fixe menu at $133/person. This cost was for food only, and our choices were to pick from one of three salads, one of three vegetarian pizzas, and one of two desserts. No modifications were allowed. We complained to the manager on duty after he repeated several times that this was their large party policy, a policy which was never relayed to us. We negotiated for the ability to order off of the regular menu, but the requirement of $133/person remained. This required us to order multiple salads, starters, pastas, and pizzas per person. Again, no modifications were allowed. If you wanted to add grilled chicken to a pasta, you had to order the caesar salad AND pasta, and then transfer the chicken from your salad to your pasta. This was the actual recommendation from our waiter, and at $133/person, we had a price point to hit no matter how much food was to be wasted.
The food was flavorless. Delivery pizza and pasta will surpass any experience...
Read moreI reached out to crazy pizza in East Hampton when I saw that they were opening and from the start I was in touch with Jessica, who is so nice and so accommodating. I was holding a birthday party for myself with about 18 people and she really helped keep it organized- we had a nice long table in the back by the DJ and it was amazing. The atmosphere is very fun there and it doesnât feel like a normal dinner. Stefano was our server and he was so nice from the moment we sat down until the moment we left he really made my birthday special. All my friends had nothing but good things To say the. food was amazing we ended up getting family style. Pizza was a little doughy but still good!. My friend ordered a couple bottles of champagne and the servers made it so fun when it came out, they went around the table and poured it into our mouths I definitely recommend going to crazy pizza if you want a fun dinner experience great service,...
