Pepperoni's — Restaurant in Town of East Hampton

I am not from the area. I ordered two pizzas and a salad for delivery. The gentleman on the phone told me it would take about an hour to deliver. No big deal. 2 hours passed and still no pizza. I called and they informed me they had a big order before hand. We received our pizza after 2 hours. I was unaware that the pizzeria was only 5 minutes away from where I was staying, I would have picked it up myself. I was also unaware that they charged 8 dollars for a delivery fee. Ontop of that the driver took it upon himself to charge 10 additional dollars to my card as his tip without my consent. The meal that should have cost $62 turned into $82. An hour late. Very big scam. Make sure you ask for a total before giving a credit card over the phone. Our family has lived in Springs for years, and never once had even a passable experience with Pepperoni’s. A few weeks ago I ordered several pizzas online, paid $300+ and got a receipt saying the pizza would be ready in about 30 min. I sent my family to go pick it up and they had no record of our order. Fine. But then instead of re-making it or prioritizing the order, they interrogated my elderly mother about the receipt, which I sent a copy of. 20 min later, they returned home without pizza - apparently they refused to make it for us, but still charged me for it! Great pizza but lack of attention to detail. I placed a take out order and the person who took the order sounded like she said 15 minutes which is often a reasonable time but when I arrived 15 minutes later she said it was 50 minutes but there was no time in our phone call when I placed the order that she emphasized 50 minutes. I just waited in the car and then, when I picked up the pizza it was not what I ordered. I order a regular pizza with pepperoni and bacon and received a pizza with hot peppers and bacon.
