Let me start by saying we have been here multiple times and have loved the food and overall experience, today not so much.
Upon entering while looking at the menu board we were asked by an older woman if we'd be dining in or placing an order to go. When we said we'd be dining in, the woman said they'd seat us upstairs, that they were trying a new table service. We followed the server upstairs and we were seated. We were given menus, asked what we'd like to drink and told she'd give us a "few seconds" to look at the menu. The "few seconds" really wasn't necessary. We drove 45 minutes for the Smoked Wings and Turkey Sandwich. So we placed our order and had our drinks within a few minutes. Our food came out within a reasonable amount of time and from our past experiences we were expecting hot, mouth watering food. The wings were not smoked, they were Open Pit wings. It would've been great if our server had told us beforehand that they only have Smoked Wings for a special now and then and that our only option was open pit. Had we known this before the Open Pit wings arrived we would of ordered something else. The Open Pit wings were luke warm and dry. The sweet potato fries were ice cold. I've had warmer fries from under a fast food heat lamp. The butter sauce served with them was warmer then the fries and that's not saying much. Most of the butter sauce was cold and cemented to the condiment cup it was served in. The Turkey sandwich was also cold. The onion rings were the only item we ordered that were not cold.
As far as the servers go, they weren't horrible but they certainly weren't great either. When we were seated there were 3 other tables with guests. Two servers were working the tables. When they weren't taking care of another table they were standing behind the bar staring at your table. Every five minutes one of them interrupted us by asking how things were. Then when it was apparent we were done, one of them came over with her hand held device and asks if that'll be cash or card. I still had half my beer I was hoping to drink but it was clear they were in a hurry to clean our table. When we left there were only 2 other tables with guests seated. There was no crazy line downstairs at the counter going out the door so I don't understand the reason to rush us.
What we hoped would be an enjoyable dinner with good food, conversation and some time to unwind was everything but. I highly doubt we will drive 45 minutes again for cold food, intrusive service and a $61.08...

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a young lady at the counter, who provided clear instructions on how to place our orders. The atmosphere felt vibrant and welcoming, with 3-4 tables located on the lower level and an additional dining area upstairs, plus a lovely outdoor deck for warmer days.
For our meals, my husband opted for the two-meat combo featuring brisket and turkey, paired with sweet potato fries and macaroni and cheese. I chose the three-meat combo, indulging in smoked turkey, brisket, and ribs, with sides of tater tots and macaroni and cheese.
Now, let's talk about that macaroni and cheeseāit was hands down the best I've ever tasted! As someone who prides herself on making a mean mac & cheese, I was shocked to find that TSGās version surpassed mine by a country mile. The tater tots, though seemingly simple, were surprisingly delightful. They had a flavor that I can't quite pinpoint but converted me into a tater tot fan, at least for that meal. My husband, who usually isn't keen on sweet potato fries, found them to be quite tasty as well. While I would have preferred mashed potatoes with beef gravy (a personal favorite), the deliciousness of our meals made any such preference a moot point.
The staff at TSG Barbeque deserves a special mention. Each young team member we encountered was well-trained and knowledgeable, ready to answer our questions with a smile. Their impeccable service made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
What stood out the most was the bustling takeout business on a Thursday nightābags lined up like Iāve never seen before, with a steady line of customers coming in to pick up dinner. This is a true testament to the restaurant's popularity. It's clear that TSG Barbeque is doing something right, and as someone who has spent a significant amount of time in the food service industry, I can appreciate their dedication.
In summary, TSG Barbeque offers excellent service, delicious food, and some of the most tender, juicy barbecue I've ever had. If you're in the area or passing through, make sure to stop byāyou wonāt regret it! Great job,...

This was our first experience here and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and very friendly staff.the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and the second floor patio view is definitely post worthy š. Now the food . We ordered the supreme tater totās with pulled pork. I was very impressed with the flavor of the pulled pork and the crispiness of the tater tots. Unfortunately, they covered everything with cheese, which usually isnāt a bad thing, but there was too much cheese and not enough tater totās not sure if thatās some thing that you can change or just cut down on the cheese itself but it was delicious. We also ordered the 1/3 rack of ribs with two meats and a rodeo burger. The ribs for me were great in the barbecue sauce that they added on top after the smoke. Topped it off pretty well my favorite by far was the brisket a little salty a little sweet, smoky, delicious pulled pork again phenomenal mac & cheese was also good in the coleslaw, which I was surprised didnāt have a lot of dressing, but was still full of flavor. My wife absolutely love the rodeo burger. Her only complaint was that the bun was very hard . Idk if they steam the buns but this bun was hard hopefully this can be corrected. We also got a sweet potato fries that have the most amazing dip to put a man sweet deliciousness .Also, the cornbread I really enjoyed be aware that it has jalapeƱos in it which is a standard for cornbread and they should let customers know that in case they canāt have that overall out of our scale from 1 to 10. We gave them a 8 . With minor adjustments they can easily be a 10 I highly recommend them, and again sit outside enjoy the weather and the amazing view. I also wanted to add not sure if the restaurant will even read this, but I feel like the second floor bar should be open. I feel like this could generate a lot of money for...
