Let’s start off this review with the fact that pulling into the parking lot you get smacked in the face with the delicious smell of amazing bbq . This was our first experience here and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and very friendly staff.the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and the second floor patio view is definitely post worthy 😃. Now the food . We ordered the supreme tater tot’s with pulled pork. I was very impressed with the flavor of the pulled pork and the crispiness of the tater tots. Unfortunately, they covered everything with cheese, which usually isn’t a bad thing, but there was too much cheese and not enough tater tot’s not sure if that’s some thing that you can change or just cut down on the cheese itself but it was delicious. We also ordered the 1/3 rack of ribs with two meats and a rodeo burger. The ribs for me were great in the barbecue sauce that they added on top after the smoke. Topped it off pretty well my favorite by far was the brisket a little salty a little sweet, smoky, delicious pulled pork again phenomenal mac & cheese was also good in the coleslaw, which I was surprised didn’t have a lot of dressing, but was still full of flavor. My wife absolutely love the rodeo burger. Her only complaint was that the bun was very hard . Idk if they steam the buns but this bun was hard hopefully this can be corrected. We also got a sweet potato fries that have the most amazing dip to put a man sweet deliciousness .Also, the cornbread I really enjoyed be aware that it has jalapeƱos in it which is a standard for cornbread and they should let customers know that in case they can’t have that overall out of our scale from 1 to 10. We gave them a 8 . With minor adjustments they can easily be a 10 I highly recommend them, and again sit outside enjoy the weather and the amazing view. I also wanted to add not sure if the restaurant will even read this, but I feel like the second floor bar should be open. I feel like this could generate a lot of money for the business.

Good BBQ is hard to find in WNY. We have some places that are decent but nothing that has aced all elements of a great BBQ dinner. TSG floored us today. Superb BBQ and sides to die for. Everything was unique. Tator tots were not just tator tots. They were different. The Mac and cheese was not what you would think but it was way better! Cornbread was moist and flavorful. The stew can be put into a combo and has a delicious savory sweetness that was surprisingly phenomenal! Ribs were fall of the bone with a nice crusted char topped with yet another unique flavor. The pulled pork sandwiches were jaw dropping and my four kids devoured what they could fit in their bellies. I just loved the atmosphere, the outdoor dining option, the smoke pits as you walk in...wonderful. One critique though that is critical for a restaurant for us to return to is a children's menu. This restaurant did not offer anything child sized. The sandwich combo for $7.50 was the best we could do but it was more than double what my kids could eat. Still, a good price but not family friendly from our standpoint. Even that considered, TSG has really found their own unique brand of BBQ, sides and flavors that WOW'd us.

Authentic perfectly smoked meats and sides with a spectacular backdrop of the creek. You walk past a wall of smokers on your way in and the smell is intoxicating from the parking lot. We went for a late lunch, ordering the 3 meat platter plus 2 extra sides. The brisket is tender and pulls apart but doesn't fall apart. In my opinion, pure perfection! The pulled pork is luscious and unctuous, perfect by itself or dipped/slathered in BBQ sauce. I would tell you about the roast beef, but the hubs ate it all! Then we get to the sides. I tend to be picky about my sides....not this time. The mac salad, cole slaw, and mac n cheese were delicious, but I must admit, I inhaled the baked beans and nearly went back to get more. They are slightly smoky, slighty sweet, with large strips of smoked bacon on top. To die for, is all I could think as I ate them. If you want true authentic style southern BBQ, then GO HERE ASAP! The food is outstanding and the staff was even more outstanding. We were asked numerous times how the food was and if we needed anything further. They do offer pick up, take out, and delivery, plus eat-in.

Let me start by saying we have been here multiple times and have loved the food and overall experience, today not so much.

Upon entering while looking at the menu board we were asked by an older woman if we'd be dining in or placing an order to go. When we said we'd be dining in, the woman said they'd seat us upstairs, that they were trying a new table service. We followed the server upstairs and we were seated. We were given menus, asked what we'd like to drink and told she'd give us a "few seconds" to look at the menu. The "few seconds" really wasn't necessary. We drove 45 minutes for the Smoked Wings and Turkey Sandwich. So we placed our order and had our drinks within a few minutes. Our food came out within a reasonable amount of time and from our past experiences we were expecting hot, mouth watering food. The wings were not smoked, they were Open Pit wings. It would've been great if our server had told us beforehand that they only have Smoked Wings for a special now and then and that our only option was open pit. Had we known this before the Open Pit wings arrived we would of ordered something else. The Open Pit wings were luke warm and dry. The sweet potato fries were ice cold. I've had warmer fries from under a fast food heat lamp. The butter sauce served with them was warmer then the fries and that's not saying much. Most of the butter sauce was cold and cemented to the condiment cup it was served in. The Turkey sandwich was also cold. The onion rings were the only item we ordered that were not cold.

As far as the servers go, they weren't horrible but they certainly weren't great either. When we were seated there were 3 other tables with guests. Two servers were working the tables. When they weren't taking care of another table they were standing behind the bar staring at your table. Every five minutes one of them interrupted us by asking how things were. Then when it was apparent we were done, one of them came over with her hand held device and asks if that'll be cash or card. I still had half my beer I was hoping to drink but it was clear they were in a hurry to clean our table. When we left there were only 2 other tables with guests seated. There was no crazy line downstairs at the counter going out the door so I don't understand the reason to rush us.

What we hoped would be an enjoyable dinner with good food, conversation and some time to unwind was everything but. I highly doubt we will drive 45 minutes again for cold food, intrusive service and a $61.08...

After receiving a glowing recommendation from a staff member at the University of Buffalo, my husband and I decided to make a stop at TSG Barbeque on our way south of Buffalo. We were eager to see if it lived up to the hype, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a young lady at the counter, who provided clear instructions on how to place our orders. The atmosphere felt vibrant and welcoming, with 3-4 tables located on the lower level and an additional dining area upstairs, plus a lovely outdoor deck for warmer days.

For our meals, my husband opted for the two-meat combo featuring brisket and turkey, paired with sweet potato fries and macaroni and cheese. I chose the three-meat combo, indulging in smoked turkey, brisket, and ribs, with sides of tater tots and macaroni and cheese.

Now, let's talk about that macaroni and cheese—it was hands down the best I've ever tasted! As someone who prides herself on making a mean mac & cheese, I was shocked to find that TSG’s version surpassed mine by a country mile. The tater tots, though seemingly simple, were surprisingly delightful. They had a flavor that I can't quite pinpoint but converted me into a tater tot fan, at least for that meal. My husband, who usually isn't keen on sweet potato fries, found them to be quite tasty as well. While I would have preferred mashed potatoes with beef gravy (a personal favorite), the deliciousness of our meals made any such preference a moot point.

The staff at TSG Barbeque deserves a special mention. Each young team member we encountered was well-trained and knowledgeable, ready to answer our questions with a smile. Their impeccable service made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

What stood out the most was the bustling takeout business on a Thursday night—bags lined up like I’ve never seen before, with a steady line of customers coming in to pick up dinner. This is a true testament to the restaurant's popularity. It's clear that TSG Barbeque is doing something right, and as someone who has spent a significant amount of time in the food service industry, I can appreciate their dedication.

In summary, TSG Barbeque offers excellent service, delicious food, and some of the most tender, juicy barbecue I've ever had. If you're in the area or passing through, make sure to stop by—you won’t regret it! Great job,...
