Came to this restaurant about 2 weeks ago. Me and my friend got there to be greater with we are closed, I told them your Google said you're open still (we came around 3 or 4 pm, Shabbat was till late). We told them could we at least see the restaurant, cause of course we were coming from far and made a detour just to try this restaurant cause it looked interesting online. The first look at the restaurant was that this place looked old and not that great. The only nice thing they have is that it faces the lake. All of the sudden a difren waiter said they can take our order if we quickly order cause they where closing the kitchen (I dont like to rush in places where I dont see the food but I had to) we ordered 1 ravioli order and 1 salad. Once we ordered another 2 people came in and also ordered, they didn't tell them it was closed. So, as a person who is paying overpriced food, I dont like to get bad service vs. other clients of theirs that came in 10 min later.
The ravioli for the price and the look of the venue was not normal. Only 6 small ravioli And the Greek salad didn't even know how to use the feta. They put in cubes for which it wasn't able to blend into the salad, the salad also was really small, you cant see on this picture cause I took closer up but their dishes are small diameter, most was lettuce and air.
We paid about almost $60 . And truthfully, it's not worth it at all. For that, the venue should have atleastblooked elegant, not like if you're eating my a camp inside.
Bottom like if you want to pay city prices for not so great food this is the...
Read moreI have to say this place has a lot of potential to be awesome, it has so much good going for it, but the service and presentation is not the greatest. I think with a little bit xtra care and attention to detail people will be happy spending extra money to eat here. Being that it’s a bit more pricey, the service needs to be superb, the waiters need to be super attentive and gracious, the small details like clean tables, salt and pepper at every spot, perfectly spiced salad will go along way. This spot is truly a kosher gem experience just bec of the views its location and its gorgeous outdoor seating. I would also recommend a little upgrade to the outdoor area to look more fresh cohesive and high end. I think also mainly the staff need to be better managed by a detail oriented individual who takes pride in service and being on top of hiring happy staff. Our waiter wasn’t mean or anything but he seemed like he was suffering in his role as waiter and that’s not very comfortable for the people being waited on by, we felt hesitant to bother him bec it seemed like asking for salt or more dressing was a bother to him, which is odd bec that’s your job, so if you don’t like it you shouldn’t be doing it. Being a waiter/(working in hospitality-)is a job that needs to be done it’s extra grace, it’s demanding in that way. Anyway all th best, I’m sure we’d be back bec the food was quite good even with all these small detail mishaps and eating kosher food on sucha beautiful lake is...
Read moreI visited this place hoping for a relaxing breakfast, but it turned out to be anything but. I ordered a Breakfast Tel Aviv and specifically requested butter on the side. The waiter assured me he’d bring it, but when my meal arrived five minutes later, there was no butter in sight. I asked about it, and he apologized, saying he’d bring it “right away.” Twenty minutes later, still no butter. Frustrated, I went to the counter to ask for it, and they casually told me to go to the kitchen myself.
When I finally reached the kitchen, I was met with attitude from the staff. After I explained that I’d been waiting for butter for over 20 minutes, someone finally handed me a rock-hard slab of butter that was impossible to spread.
On top of that, I had ordered an iced latte, which never arrived, even after I had finished my meal. When I told the waiter to cancel it, he disappeared into the kitchen, only to return twice to confirm whether I was sure I wanted to cancel the drink.
I won’t go into more details, but it’s clear that this place is not for anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable breakfast. The service is abysmal, and I will never return. Consider this a warning for...
